Business Trip to San Jose
The Hampton Inn was okay, as Hampton Inns go. Staff was friendly. Food in the freezer was old and stale in some cases. The free WiFi was somewhat slow in the rooms at the ends of the hotel. If you're there just to put your head on a pillow, then it's just fine.

Short drive from hotel
The Boiling Crab in the nearby shopping center is great for cajun food. Expect a 45 minute wait for a table at dinner time. If you can't wait, there's a Famous Dave's BBQ right across the way.

Dissappointed business traveler
Not worth the price
I stayed at the Hampton Inn for 3 nights. The first thing I noticed was that there were lumps all over the duvet. The filling was all clumped up in chunks--not very comfortable. Several lights didn't work in my room and several lights were out in the hallway outside my room--not a pleasant experience if you return to your room after dark. 2 mornings I grabbed one of the bagged "on-the-go" breakfasts they had available at the front desk and not only were the apples inside unbelievably tiny, but they were also rotten. I mean rotten to the point that there was a large rotted hollow hole in the top of the apple. I have stayed at several Hampton Inn's and they are usually very comfortable. This one was a major dissappointment.

Nice Place, just out of the way.
Nice new hotel, just out of the way, industrial business area. Room was large and clean - floor was a bit squeaky. Breakfast was excellent.
