UNCOMFORTABLE AND NOISY
Stood here for one night and woke up almost every hour due to uncomfortable bed and pillows along with all the noise from the other hotel guests. Would not stay here again

Uncomfortable Beds
Stayed here for a week with my husband. Even though it was great location (close to his parents), the bed was unbearably uncomfortable making the one week holiday stay not so restful. My husband frequently complained about the small pillows. We're not ones to request room service often, and they were quite adamant about getting into our room to clean. One day, I told the cleaning service that I didn't want service three times and to top it off... after the last "no" the manager called to confirm. It was quite annoying. Other than that, it was an average stay and I will not stay there again only because it felt old to me (the furniture) and its entry is via exterior door which makes it louder and to me more unsafe.

Good location, affordable
The hotel was in a great location, close to many attractions that San Jose has to offer. We especially liked the continental breakfast that included hot items; eggs, biscuits and cinnamon rolls.

You get what you pay for
Very respectable rooms and staff was very helpful. The only complaint was the bedding and pillows. There is also a motor cross track right behind it so it wasn't the quietest. Overall not bad but wouldn't stay there again if the choice was there.

Basic Hotel with easy access to San Jose
This is tough to get to without a car but I did manage it and an easy and quick bus ride into downtown SJC Clerks were welcoming and attentive

Very comfortable, unfortunate location
Very peaceful, comfortable hotel. Charming California style reminded me of family vacations in the 60's. Very friendly staff, clean room with microwave and fridge. Unfortunately location was a little too far south of town/airport for the business I was there to conduct. Airplane and highway noise in the morning might not be ideal for someone on vacation and hoping to sleep in.

Travel me silly
Not quite what I expexted.
Each room as an exterior door which really makes it noisy. Room was in excelent shape and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom is small, but overall clean.

Great hotel
Nice hotel with friendly staff (they gave us a free upgrade to the jaccuzi room and were helpful in offering options for dinner). The rooms are clean and well maintained. The free (hot) breakfast could have been slightly better (it was a bit limited when compared to other Holiday Inn's Express). The free WiFi Internet was a great plus.
