Hyatt Regency Pier 66

Used to be more of a business hotel but seems to have become more family oriented. Stayed during Easter Sunday so could not get reservation for Sunday Brunch. Weather cool and could not heat the room. Had to spend additional $40 per day for a decent size room but it had 2 double beds, not a king.

Excellent room, service, great pools and gym. Loved the outer buildings. However the SPA (health club) was being renovated and was not open. Great views from the Sunday breakfast buffet.

A hotel of this class and with roomprices that high should not make up for bad economi by charging $ 21+tax for parking. They also charged for using their computer. Much less fancy places give it for free. We have the feeling this Hyatt wants to come across as a fancy place but couldnt deliver th goods Needs an upgrade to meet the expectation one have on a Hyatt

Surprised to see the larger size of the room and very pleased.Had to ask for more than one bar of soap and facecloths--delivered quite promptly. A great view of the marina and a great value for the money. Staff was most accommodating when my friend asked for help wrapping a gift for me!!! Would certainly stay there again.

This a great location if you are cruising out of Ft Lauderdale as it is very close to the peirs. The hotel is nice and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room service food was very good,however, the staff it seems to have had difficulty understanding English and did not send us what we ordered. We were there on a rainy day and were awoken in the morning by someone using a leaf blower to dry off the passage way outside our room, which went on for about half an hour :( . I felt the price of the room was a little high for the room we were given as we were not in one of the tower rooms with a balcony but would probably stay there again.

There are more rooms than in the tower shown. They open to the outdoors on the ground floor but they're either facing the pool or the canal with huge beautiful yachts. Great place. Staff is excellent. I'd go back.

I really like this hotel my wife was the one that found this Hotel. The staff was friendly!!! The food at the Lounge was excellent. My wife love the three swimming pool and the big HOT TUB!!!! I will tell everybody about the Hyatt Regency Pier 66, I already told people about it I'm, looking for reservatioin to come back in DEC.The rooms are like a 5 star hotel. The only thing we didn't like is the the Water Taxi driver let us off at the wrong place and we keep asking him was this the right stop, and he said yes, we had to walk a long way and get on the city bus.

The hotel was excellent, we arrived early and they helped us to get our room well before check in and were just friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a ride to the port for our cruise.

The setting for this hotel is truly spectacular. There are docks connected to the hotel houses yachts of every size, quite a few 100 footer. on the glorious intercostal waterways of Ft. Lauderdale. The interior of the hotel looks completely redone with excellent taste very modern with rich dark wood panels. The food was prepared by a master chief every single bit was a pure joy. Only two negatives. 1. very little if ambiance, it was pretty empty. The staff said it was its slow time, Labor Day Weekend. 2. I have a charge on my credit card that I didn't incur & I've left two messages & have yet to receive a call back.

The location was convenient to the airport. The hotel itself was a bit rundown. We were in a room in the middle of a courtyard. Also the room smelled.
