Great Experience. Great Location, right across from beach, walking distance to all attractions. Fun Fun times to be had. Excellent for the price and location. Staff friendly and nice.

The AC and the shower were broken in our room along with the TV which got not channels. The location was great (directly across the street from the beach) and the overall feel of the place is kind of cozy adn eclectic. But when there was no cool air and no cool water to shower in we were extremely uncomfortable. The staff would not give us a different room because it was prepaid for and there was no maintanence on site. Additionally I did not get one penny of my $150 back. We left at 5:30am unable to sleep in the heat. We will certainly not be back.

If it was not for the great location, I would have been totally disapointed. Other features, no bugs of any kind. Did not have a balcony, water was scolding hot in the bathroom, wouldn't recommend for small children. Strong odor to hide bad odor. Was on the 5th floor, elevator out for 24 hours. Had to use the stair and key was deactivated the same day. Curtain didnt close all the way, letting people see into the room, of which a big mirror was able to let people see us sleeping etc.

This hotel has a great location, but that's about it. It's definitely not a 3-star hotel. The carpets were dirty and it has a dirty, moldy smell to it. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets were cheap and of poor quality. I would not stay here again.

the place was stink, the linen dirty, the rug was filthy... i would never go back....Seems like a modern day crack house.... who ever owns this establishment needs to be Sued.... False Advertisement....

The room smelled like cat, stayed one night then stayed with my son at his house. Would never stay there again.

The staff was not very attentive. We checked in early and they held our bags, which was nice, and upon return to get our room key, we stood at the counter for at least 15-20 minutes while the employee took care of people that came up to the counter AFTER us. Customer service was not good at all but we just needed a place to stay for one night. It was NOT that busy either.

Got off the ship and took a taxi to Sea Side Resort. (We were with friends of ours - another couple.) We got there about 10 a.m. and were told we could not get into the room until 3 p.m., but they would be happy to hold our luggage for us. :-) We returned around 3:30 p.m. and were told that our "discount booking agent" only gave them one reservation and we would have to share a room. (right!) I had two separate confirmation numbers and two separate charges all ready on my credit card for both rooms. After much discussion, I asked for the Manager. More discussion with him and he phoned the "discount booking agent" and he "magically" found the reservation (after we told him if we had been told at 10 a.m. when we arrived, we could of gotten a room elsewhere,) and if, in fact it was a "discount booking agents" error, I would have dealt with it upon our return. One room was ready, but one was not ready until over an hour later. I love argueing with hotel staff, especially after coming off a wonderful 1 week cruise, so next time we will go home right away. Hotel was older - maybe 50 years, must have been nice in its day. Elevator did not work. Room was clean, there were a few ants, but I'm sure if they remodeled it- it would increase the price. Friends room smelled like bleach. Beach was right across road from hotel - location - location - location. Probably a great Spring Break Hotel.

This hotel is in an ideal location, as it is directly across from the beach. That is the reason that my husband and i selected it-that and the price. However, the owners of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves in that they have not maintained their property at all. The hallway carpets are filthy. The furniture in the rooms are from the 1950's-worn out, dirty and dated! The sheets and towels are all thread bare. In all my life I have never been to a dirtier hotel than this, and through it all the staff are so nice and willing to help-I think they must feel guilty that the place is such a dump. If the owners would only invest some money into refurbishing this place, they would have a real gem on their hands and be able to gain back the money they spent by charging higher rates. perhaps this would also then elevate the quality of the customers they attract ! Spend a bit more and stay somewhere else- if not, you too will get what you pay for!
