I was there playing golf and I was looking for a cheap hotel without being in the hood. For the the nightly rate of 32 a night it was an excellent deal clean comfortable bed and a kitchen. In a nice area and easy access to the main highways. I will stay there again when I come back. LB of DC

It was a little difficult to find, but no more than the other brandname hotels in the same campus setting. Friendly staff and clean room that was comfortable and had plenty of room. I travel every week and this is a place I'll stay again soon.

the roon was dirty, the kitchen floor actually had a tennis shoe footprint on the floor in dirt...kitchen bathroon floor filthy, sink didnt drain...noise from another room kept us awake two nights, we complained and it was not taken care of and desk person had a bad attitude...i called again and after letting the phone ring 14 times, the girl picked it up and instead of answering hung up in my face.,, i called after 11pm and got another person on the desk who seemed interested in helping and noise stopped...noise sounded like constant walking, dragging furniture around, slamming closet doors, etc....my daughter was on elevator and another guest mentioned that she smelled pot in the elevator all the time and it was worse in the stairwells....two of the maids got into an argument in the hallway and were using the "f" work and the "s" word very loud....

Overall everything was nice. But, after 8:30 it seemed as if the front desk clerk would vanish. First night there waited 20 minutes with several other guest just to get checked in. Note on desk said "will be back in a minute." Thursday night after waiting 15 minutes for someone to return just gave up and went back to room.

The rooms and decor is pretty ordinary. The basic setup is for longer stays, so you don't get daily full room cleaning. Consequently the rooms are not impeccably clean. Both rooms I had were basically clean, but had some spots on the carpet and upholstery. If you want the Ritz, you;ll have go to and pay for the Ritz. The price is low - under $50 online, and if you stay a week it is even less, so I consider it a very good value.. The rooms include a small cooktop and full sized fridge.

The room was OK but there is no stove and there are really not sufficient dishes to easily cook a full meal. I would have liked a way to divide the sleeping area from the living area. Good extended stay but NOT deluxe. The staff is SUPERB! Good location with shopping and restaurants close by. In a quiet office area.

The room was very nice for a long stay type hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The problems were the floor was in need of a good cleaning (carpet), and cockroaches in room. After extending my stay by one day AND informing the front desk of this, I got back to my room that night after the front desk closed (by two minutes)to find I was locked out of my room. I just stood in the parking lot and cried. I was so tired and stressed and all I wanted was to get to my insulin (which was locked inside) and go to sleep. The front desk had 2 days to have me bring in my code key but never bothered to tell me this was necessary. I told them at check in that we would be staying an extra day. The emergency phone outside the office should be painted red so people can see it. I finally got a human to come in to the office and fix my code key! Thanks lodes for the drama, I'm sure my nerves really needed the prospect of sleeping in my car.

Upon my arrival to check in. Once I did check in I was assigned to a smoking room which I requested a non-smoking room. Then I received a call from the front desk saying I was selling drugs from my room which was a insult. I was never given an apology by the front desk. There was no iron only a ironing board. Other than that the location was near other restaurants and stores.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times I have found that it is a good value for the price I paid. Though it is not a luxury hotel, the location is ideal & safe and the rooms are clean & spacious. I asked the clerks behind the counter for general information and they lacked the knowledge & information. I did need to request for hand & face towels to be put into the room and they accomdated my request. Overall, I feel I got a good value for what I paid. I spent most of the day out & about anyway and used the room to sleep in and get ready in the morning. The mattresses could use replacement but I was able to sleep well through the night. I give it a 3 1/2 stars.

Enjoyed getting together with a friend for a long weekend and making this our meeting destination. Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Staff was very accomodating from the minute we walked in. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff went out of their way to make things fit with our schedule. The beds were quite comfortable and if food wasn't available when we came down for breakfast, the dining staff was quick to refill everything for us! Enjoyed our stay!

The lady at the front desk was super nice. Her dry yet professional personality cracked me up! Very good location close to lots of shopping and fun at the end of the night! Waffles at breakfast normal, but so good after a late night.

Hotel was perfectly located, with food and entertainment just a walk away (Dave and busters) and shopping at st. John's town center about 10 min. Drive and the beach was about 25 min. drive. Location was also peaceful and quite. As for the hotel, rooms were great we cooked at the hotel alot and saved tons of money. Spent 4 weeks in the queen suite but would have rather gotten the one bedroom suite as it was bigger and better set up. Book early for those they go quick. Hotel was clean and they had free laundry which was also great. They were super friendly and helpful. My only complaint could be the gym was poorly located and very small with very little workout equipment. Other then that this hotel is great and I will most likely be staying here again.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff at check in could have been a little friendlier. She didn't seem to really want to be there. No eye contact, no hello, i really didnt see that she ever even looked at myself or my children. Other than that, the hotel itself was nice and i would use it again. The maid service was much nicer and friendlier.

Very nice hotel. Staff not so wonderful - the clerk never even looked at me when she checked me in. I was recovering from a stomach virus, and explained I wanted to get something to eat, but had a tender tummy.I told her I was in the market for something like soup and grilled cheese. First she recommended Dave and Busters (really?), then a sub shop. Totally didn't get it.
They advertise Jacksonville's best hot breakfast buffet - oh, yuck. They have a pancake-making machine. Unfortunately they tasted like the batter was sour. Nothing at all was tempting or good except the tiny yogurt cups. And the worst thing was that the coffee was very weak.
Room were normal HIE rooms, not enough blankets as usual and I was there on the coldest night (temp in the twenties!!). So the heat was turned up.
Lackluster all the way around. I won't go there again.

Wonderful experience. Help when you needed it and totally left alone to do your own thing when that was your pleasure. A satisfying breakfast every morning and an evening wine and light dinner (chili, hot dog, burgers and salads) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The staff was friendly and the suite was spotless. The air in our room was extremely dry, so we purchased a vaporizer at a local store. It was exactly what was needed. When traveling to Jacksonville, I will definitely stay there again..... bringing my vaporizer of course!

The first night of my 6 night stay I had an issue, the new manager was very accommodating and took care of the issue immediately. This was my trip to see my son before he left for "Afganistan". It was the first time to see my daughter-in - law and grandchildren in a year. There were a couple of other issues but over all the hotel is very nice.

This place was dirty, smelly, there were bugs biting me on the bed--my legs were covered with bites, the bathroom was disgusting, and it's a very unsafe neighborhood despite what the lying front desk clerk and manager claim. Four drunk guys were peeing around the pool, and all the manager and desk clerk could say was We're not babysitters. Someone banged on my door late at night and blocked the peephole, so I didn't say a word or answer, but as a woman alone, I was pretty scared. The next morning someone tried to force entry while I was in the bathroom (and it was NOT housekeeping, as I had a do not disturb sign on my door). The clerk still claimed it was a safe place, but as I learned later from other people, including Jacksonville residents, there have been some nasty robbing and beating incidents at that Days Inn, very recently. The smell in the room was nauseating, and the desk was dirty and sticky. The TV was blurry, the bedspreads were torn and dirty, there were stains on the bed blankets....Need I say more?

Booked this to see the Jeff Dunham show in Jacksonville (approv 20 mins from arena). Within walking distance of many places to eat (ie, TGI Fridays, Orleans Grill, etc). Room was clean, staff very polite, curtious, and helpful. Booked a king, but @ 1st, was givin a 2 dbl bed room. On the way back to lobby, ran into the GM (taking the trash out himself, a working GM, refreshing), explained our problem, and even though they were booked, found us a king room. Will definately book again when in that area.

Expensive price, terrible place. Roach infested, there are dead ones in the light fixtures in the bathroom, little ones running in the tub! Obnoxious Asian manager but his staff super nice and helpful,...avoid this place at all costs! I have never been in such a place. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels nice THAT WAS IT. Asked for help from the manager [...], and was told I would have to wait for his next shift to come as it was time for the shift change. Horrid little man. Barking out to his employees, his idea of manager special cheese pizza and beer, or on monday gobs of chinese take out and grease.

Beautiful new contemporary hotel. The value is unmatched in Jacksonville. Great centrally located hotel with easy access to JTB, 9A, UNF and 95. St.John's Town Center is less than a mile away. I WILL be rebooking on next visit to JAX. Only advice, there is ample FREE parking and the breakfast option given in room choice packages is a little misleading. Breakfast is available well into lunch hour, and is very reasonable. My husband and I had a full breakfast for under $20. So my advice is just book the room. This is a non-smoking hotel, so we were very pleased to see management address cigarette odor coming from an adjacent room at 2AM! Beautiful reasonably priced hotel.
