Smoke gets in your Eyes
Stay somewhere else. We had a non-smoking room on the 1st floor, sometime before 6AM I woke up to the strong smell of cigarette smoke in our room. There must be a common exhaust shared with 3rd floor but it seemed like there was a smoker in our bathroom! Our friends in the next room said the same thing.

Excellent hotel and service
The hotel is well situated to the port terminal as we wanted. Everything about the hotel was excellent including the complimentary breakfast and the fact that if you forgot any toiletry items, they would provide them. Would use the hotel again if in the area.

Great place to stay
This property was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and tried to meet our every request. With the exception of location, (away from Jacksonville Landing) we would highly recommend the hotel. Even the drive to downtown Jacksonville wasn't that bad but just didn't know our way around. Very enjoyable stay!!!

Wendy's was across the highway and there was a convienent store across the road also. Other than that, one must drive a few miles for anything else.

very family friendly
The Holiday Express Inn was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and could not ask for better accommodations. It would have been nice if we could have had a restaurant; but, the continental breakfast was fine. We were very, very satisfied with our stay. It was out of the heavy traffic and very convenient to our favorite place, the beach. Oh! The beds were so comfortable. We definitely would like to use their services again.

The Sand Dollar restaurant is nearby and the food was great and reasonably priced. Huguenot Park was so much fun and is just a short drive away.

My review of Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites JACKSONVILLE - BLOUNT ISLAND
The hotel was easy to find. The bed,was great very comfortable . However, the sink in the bathroom wasn't draining properly , light in bathroom needed to be changed it kept flickering. Other wise it was an enjoyable.

middle of no where
one day stay is all you can take.when you ran out of things for your room you could just forget about them.took 2 days to get a new coffee pot,tissues,towels.we just gave up!!!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful
The hotel was easy to find. It was very clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast had a little of everything and the cinnamon rolls were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
