Chelsea House

Comfortable room. Could have had some fruit for us at the Continental Breakfast besides apples, but was suficient. Parking a little tight, but we had the bicycles with us, so didn't need to move the truck. Had a great time.

Nice place. Small Room. Good location. Staff was nice.

The Hotel was very close to the heart of Key West so we could walk. Great pool and lounge area. Close to several scooter places ( a must in Key West).

The garden and pool area is very nice. Good that there is free parking which is unusual in this area. The room was tiny and the bathroom even smalller. That would have been OK if the bed had been comfortable. It was too old, soft and sank in the middle. It was so bad I could hardly get to sleep and had to hang over the side so I didn't roll to the middle. The TV was old and mounted beside the bed so you couldn't watch it in comfort. I think this room is only suited to one person. Not two. No room to put bags. (Room 14) Even with these problems I would go back here with hopefully a better room. Other people said their rooms were great.

Was in Key Largo for the week and decided to go to Key West for a night. Hotel was competitively priced. Great location. Clean room and nice staff. Would definitely go back.

a lovely inn, a warm welcome and a perfect location. add a good solid breakfast, there is nothing to complain about. Oh yes, perhaps the price slightly over what I would have expected. But all in all, a great place to stay at in Key West.

The main problem with our room was the size of the bathroom. Showering was difficult and there was very little space for bathroom and showering items. I would suggest to the owners that they invest in some shower caddies. The room itself was spacious. with a nice shared balcomy. The bed was comfortable. If you stay at the Chelsea House, would suggest a room towards the back because Truman Ave. is one of the main roads into town and can be quite noisy with a considerable amount of truck ,motorbike and motorcycle noise. While close to Duvall street, it is a long walk to the waterfront area. A plus is the considerable amount of off street parking. If you can decide where you want to go and what you want to see in Key West and then see how centrally Chelsea House is to those locations.

Staff was very accommodating and nice. Location was excellent. Once we parked the car we never used it again until we checked out. Room was sufficiently clean and neat but had an odor of dampness or musty smell. There was a wall A/C unit that never cut off and could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. The day before we left, we were locked out of our room for a couple of hours due to a new lock having been installed on an outside door to our room and there was no new key made. We were not informed of this when we checked in. Staff was helpful and apologetic about our wait to get back in.
