Holiday Inn Resort LAKE BUENA VISTA

It took me quite a while to actually find the hotel, but I was very pleasantly surprised once I had. I knew they had refurbished the hotel last year, but what I found was a hotel that looked brand new. I was given room 117. If I didn't know better, I would swear I was the first person to rent the room since the remodel. It was immaculate. Sparkling clean, and everything in the room looked brand new. Two large, lovely beds with four pillows in each bed...and two spare ones in the closet. Even though there were only two of us staying, each day we had four lovely bath towels, washcloths, etc. Also, we had a very nice refrigerator and microwave that looked as though they had never before been used. Now for the TV. At least a 56inch flat panel with all HD channels. AC was great as well, no bad odor coming from the unit. The pool is lovely and clean. The first three days we were there it was so cold I coundn't get in it, so I mentioned it to maintenance, and the next day it was warm and welcoming. Plenty of chairs around the pool as well. The Tiki bar was only open one of the seven days I was there, not sure why that was. There is a 12dollar a day hotel fee, but if you shop around you will see that nearly all in the area have a similar fee as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is easily a four star. The hotel was very clean and had a great pool and jacuzzi area for the price! Hotel looked as if it was recently renovated so it was very nice and modern looking. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Applebees is in the hotel, which is nice for food, but service was poor and food at this location was not much better. It's across the street from Chic fil a and Wendys. Also, 711 is right next to the hotel which is great for morning coffee! No continental breakfast here. It was about 2 minutes from the Orlando Outlets and about 10 from the other outlet on International Drive. Free parking and shuttle service is included in the fee paid at the hotel check-in. Very few to Universal so we drove and more for Disney, which was nice. Overall, if you want a nice, clean, reasonably priced stay....STAY HERE

The staff was very cordial and helpful. The front desk clerk, the bellhop, the housekeeping staff and the restaurant people made our stay at Holiay Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista a VERY enjoyable experience.

Well asked for a handicap room as I just had hip surgey 2 week before got stuck on 5th floor no handicap last day i guess the hot water was worked on and ran the water for 30 min. then had to take a cold shower as had to be at airport it 7:00. Not a happy camper!!!

I have to say this hotel was great it had very thing we needed. It was kid friendly and also great for adults. The rooms where Big and clean and veryone was real nice. Also same day we got there my son and niece where able to watch a movie right by the pool. When ever i plan to go back to florida this is were i plan to stay, it right near everything and not far from disney and the other parks. Ps. Food service was good...

The beds were a dream! The place was clean and very well kept. I felt secure and welcome

The Hotel location was very good. The hotel was clean. The staff was very responsive. I will return again.

great location to disney world and the pool is great

My family recently stayed at this hotel from 4/15-20 and enjoyed every minute of it. Great location to downtown disney and also really close to the theme parks. on site applebees was a okay choice for dinner (especially since kids eat free) There were also a ihop, and denny's that made an excellent breakfast option. Wendy's is also across the street and there is a dollar tree down the street to service all of your needs. Will definately stay again next year.

Rooms were ready and clean. The staff were busy but helpful.
