This is now a Magnuson Hotel..same staff as we met on our last trip. But rates were much better! Nice roadside overnight stay on the way to Florida. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the pool, didn't use the hot tub, but it looked nice. We dined at Matteo's, the $5 off coupon from the hotel was great and the restaurant gave us 10% off, also, for being a hotel guest! Pleasant surprise.

Room was clean. It included small refrig and microwave. Motel is old and it appears there is some remodeling being done. Front desk staff was cordial and accomodating. Old TV with Comcast cable including hbo. I departed at 5:30 am and lobby was locked and I didn't see any part of a Continental breakfast.
Next to Cracker Barrell, Burger King, Wendys and Krystal.
Good buy for the money. I was just looking for somewhere to spend the night on an out of town business trip.

I booked this Hotel looking for an affordable room near Jekyll Island. It was very affordable but nothing special -also turned out to be 35min from Jekyll. Room comfortable and neat (no coffee) Was a little disapointing when we went down for breakfast at 9:15am to be told breakfast is over @ 9am already.

It was the perfect distance from St. Simon's Island for the price. The only complaint had nothing to do with the hotel. Our neighbor above us seemed to be doing jumping jacks all night! Compared to previous trips, it was good. I have stayed in more high-brow hotels through orbits in the past for less, but it was during an off season.

Traveling on business. Due to weather the trip took more than 14 hours more than planned and I arrived around 5AM The staff was very pleasent and helpful and looked for ways to mitigate the problems caused by misrouted luggage, etc.

You could tell that this was a Best Western Plus rather than a regular Best Western. We stopped there on our way from Savannah to Florida. Breakfast was good. The fitness center was well equipped. We didn't use the pool, but it looked sort of small.

This hotel for Brunswick is easy to find and has a very friendly staff. They were always happy to see you and went out of their way to make sure you got everything you needed. While it is a small hotel, the hot breakfast was a little on the light side for selection, but there was enough to go around and it had the types of food you would expect with the limited availability of a kitchen.

Clean, efficient desk personnel, a few minor annoyances like loose shower rod, prolonged wait for hot water one morning, broken lamp. However, Internet access was balky at best and non-existent over half the time. Difficult to get onto it 1st day, then finally worked; 2nd day couldn't get on and desk man (owner?) was arguing with ISP provider via phone and had had 7 complaints so far from guests; finally it worked in PM but very very slow connection. Day 3 was another no-go.

After driving 14 nhours from Philadelphia to GA, the room that we had booked and paid for in advance was given to someone else. The staff was unappologetic and not helpful at all. This was horrible. How can you set out on a journey if you can't trust that your paid for reservations will be honored. Still have not recieved a refund.

We weren't there long, and the pool was closed by the time we got back from the beach, which made ALL the kids sad... The bathrooms were cleaner than the linens. The TVs were Horrible, and the channels were all full of static. Liked the check-in time, and the coffee. Front desk was minimally helpful when we called, so Not the most congenial service, but overall the night went fine for the price. OH!! and "restaurants within walking distance" means "travel a busy street to the Waffle House".

Was impressed by the fantastic value of this hotel, my first experience at a Microtel. I will definitely come back. The beds were a bit harder than I'm used to, but the room was exceptionally clean and the staff kind. Breakfast a bit lacking, but that didn't bother me because of the great prices here.

The microtel is conveniently Close to FLETC. So it's nice for those ppl that don't wanna get lost. Keep in mind it's a microtel and you aren't paying a lot of money. The room we had was small but I felt it served it's purpose. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the mattress. It felt too hard.
Would I stay there again? Probably

My wife and I stayed the night on the way to Florida. Our room was clean and comfortable. I'm always leary of what some people consider clean when I read a review online however, this room was clean. I would stay again.

Meh. The Super8 I stayed in up in Dublin, GA was a lot nicer.
Didn't have coffee in my room which makes for a rough start on the day. Some of the drawers were missing and it was a tad old, but it was neat & clean. I didn't have a call for anything more in amenities and for the price, ya can't expect a Hilton Garden Inn.
The evening staff was okay, the owners didn't seem to have any sense of joy or 'ha ha' in them at all. Just 'plodding' thru their daily existance it seems. Didn't feel very 'welcoming'.

Need Coffee maker in ALL rooms! Toilets Rock around a little in most rooms. Staff extremely nice. Clean, Not quite brand new. Very Easy access, But Garmin will surely not get you to the correct address. Pool was clean, but small. Easy parking, none are far from the door. GOOD PART OF TOWN. Our room was the smallest, cheapest one you can get. We Paid only $44/night total.

Love the location to Rt 95. Always like the Country Inns & Suites atmosphere. Friendly, clean. The daytime desk clerk was extremely friendly and customer focused. This is a new (one year) hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room lacked a real desk for a computer and conversations and TVs in adjoining rooms could be hear clearly. The breakfast was hot and ok but lacked fresh fruit and good cereals. It is also a bit hard to find as it is not on GPS yet and is behind a huge gas station.

The hotel staff was very nice. And very helpful. We went there for a family visit and was very close to the attractions of Brunswick, St. Simons and Jekyll Island. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was nice and quiet and restful! My only complain was that the bathroom was not the cleanest. The floors were a little moist and the shower curtain was dirty! The location is great! Near gas stations, and a few restraunts!! Honestly, I will definitely book here again!!!!

The room was very clean and nice. Enjoying LCD TV sitting on the recliner was good enough for relax. All linen and towels look like new. In the morning, we can enjoy high quality hot breakfast.
