This hotel was a great launching pad for a night on the town! We had tickets to a Broadway show at the venue across the street, and it's also convenient to all the places we usually go in Uptown Columbus. It's great being able to park and walk to everything, and not worry about driving home!
The hotel staff were all very friendly, although the housekeeping staff was rather chatty right outside our door when we were trying to sleep in.
The restaurant was very good, with a good variety of offerings and a decent selection of wines. Service was good, and we were seated right away, even though it was a show night.
I have stayed at this hotel once before, but without booking in advance, and I must say that the rate I found here is excellent!

I'm used to good experiences at most Marriott's, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the character and comfort of the rooms at this Marriott. Due to the historical nature of the section in which we stayed, there were high ceilings and exposed brick and wood beams....very cool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if back in Columbus, Ga.

Was in town to umpire a baseball tournament and got a good deal at the HoJo. Everyone was very nice, breakfast was decent and the pool was refreshing. Old tvs, ok internet, rough towels, great air conditioning.

The Property was kept very clean at all times. Nice continetal breakfast. River Walk is awesome and only 5 to 6 blocks away. I think more promotions (in the room) from surrounding business may be useful. Great dinner next to hotel at Ruth Ann's. Need food Delivery adds or chamber of commerce listings of businesses in area. Pool was very clean. Staff were very professional. Laudry room need repairs and Dryer not very good. It did get the job done but took extra change to do it. Graduation time and lots of kids running around. Security Guard was very diplomatic and firm...

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment. No reservations after 3pm on Sundays.

I was there for my husband's graduation at Ft. Benning. The hotel is 15 mins drive from the base which is big plus. Also, the room is clean overall. The only thing was that they didn't have cookware(pots and pans) available to rent which they said they did on the little card. And it's silly because they have the stove and everything.

I was very happy with the room at the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very nice. They were very personable and made sure things were good for me. I loved the free wi-fi and how well the room was taken care of. I plan on trying to stay there again for his Graduationg from Basic Training. P.s. it has a great location close to food and shopping and only minutes from the airport and Base!

The room was clean and well stocked with towels. The breakfast bar was VERY well maintained and the lady that managed it was Fabulous! Cleaning up and restocking the whole time. The night manager was super freindly and was STILL freindly when I saw him the next morning!! I would definitely stay with y'all again!

THE HOTEL WASNT AS I EXPECTED, ESPCIALLY FOR THE VALUE OF IT, THIS LOCATOIN NEEDS SEVERAL RENOVATIONS , I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH MY ROOM AND THAT SOME TIMES WE WILL COMEBACK AND THE ROOM WASNT CLEAN. THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY RUDE WHEN I ASK FOR AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT, I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION.

The staff was very friendly, the manager, the girls that did breakfast, the front desk. They were all so friendly which just helped the not so perfect room, perfect. Rooms need updating, especially in bathrooms. Otherwise everything was fine.

The Rooms were nice and clean. The hotel was well situated and pets stayed free. That's Great! However, there was a child screaming in the hall for what seemed like all night, for several nights. The breakfast was decent, but needed some meat.

In town for a softball tournament (for me, ninth annual), and have stayed at this motel several times; very close to the softball complex. Coming in well under half the cost of nearly all local hotels, they serve my basic needs: (relatively) cheap and clean. The parking lot remained noisy into early morning – this seems a recurring issue during my stays here – but a little moderate music was enough to mostly cover. Internet has gone from unavailable to a paid option over the years, and I’d like to see it offered free, as most lower and mid-tier places do (I have little experience on the higher end!)

The Newly renovated Days Inn Columbus Georgia is located in North Columbus, Exit 6 and the closest Days Inn to Fort Benning. Our new Registration building opened in May of May of 2009. Our rooms have been updated with a new color scheme, new bedding and new carpeting. We now have a restaurant on site called The Great Panda Express.
Days Inn Columbus is just 4 miles from Fort Benning, within minutes to local Shopping at the Peachtree Mall or the Columbus Park Crossing Outdoor Mall. Our property is the closest Days Inn to Columbus State University and the Columbus Airport. Other area attractions in the Columbus area include: Coca Cola Space Science Center, Columbus Museum, Wild Animal Safari and many more cultural and historical events.

I called this hotel a couple times to confirm we needed conjoined rooms and they said they do have them at their location, however when we received our room keys we were not connect yet one of our rooms was to the other room next to them. Also because we reserved the hotel to visit ft. Benning base we also asked if our room came with irons and it did not. I needed the iron for my clothes first thing in the morning before we seen our soldier. Lastly, we went down to ask for more towels due to the fact that they gave us 3 when they knew we had 4 people in our room. And asking for those towels were like pulling teeth, the front desk requested that we immediately walked back down to return our used towels. Which for everyone who doesn't know we were on the 5th floor and it was midnight.

This hotel was close to food, shopping and activities. I liked how clean the room was and how quiet it was. Our room was next to the highway, but the noise was not that bad. It didn't cause me to lose any sleep. The hot breakfast included waffles, bacon, eggs, bagels, instant grits, intant oatmeal & even had little yopliat yogurts. I would stay again if in the area and recommend to a friend.

Staff were friendly, but the exercise room was minimal at best and when checking in at night, no internet cables were available. They were locked in the manager's office. Although called a suite, the one room was tight and tough to maneuver for 3 people.

Ok so the hotel was cheap. The door that keeps the non guest out only works if there's not another way to get in 5 feet away. HBO which was suppose to come with the room but didn't come in , I call the desk and they said it was HBO's fault. And then when I went in and turn the bathroom light on at night I had uninvited guest ( cockroaches)

Stayed here a few times since my husbands training at Fort Benning. This is not a hotel you want if you're looking for something nice, but if you want cheap this is the place for you. This IS A CHEAP HOTEL. But, we needed to save money and I could bring the dog. The halkway smelled, the room was clean, old, but clean. Cigarette burns in the sheets but they were clean. Hobos slept in the lobby overnight and in one of the stairwells. The cops and county coroner were there ine morning. But the lady at the desk was nice, and the room was comfortable.

I was in Columbus with the Miss Columbus/Southern Rivers/Peachtree board for the USO show, A Salute to Our Troops! The hotel was convenient to the base (just down I-185). The breakfast bar was well stocked with a varity of foods. The only complaint that kept my trip from being the best possible was the third floor. The entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke even though half of the rooms were designated as non-smoking. I would highly recommend not combining smoking and non smoking rooms on the same floor. If you are a non-smoker or allergic to cigarette smoke, request the second or first floor.

Our hotel upgraded us as we thought we were getting a non-smoking room, only to find it was actually a smoking room. I worried about my daughters' sensitivity to smoke and the hotel offered an upgrade at the same cost. Of course, that was nice, but the pool being out-of-service was a bummer. The breakfast wasn't hot and had to be microwaved on site. But, it was satisfying, not tasty, just satisfying. The help at the hotel was nice. The room was clean and nothing wrong at all. It is centrally located to the college area and shopping is a quick ride up the street. All-in-all, a fair stay at a jacked-up price, like all the others.

The room was not decorated with the nice pictures, etc. that I have grow accustom to in my travels. I have stayed in a few Mariott hotels, this one was not as comfortable as others. But the location was great, and I did get a good night sleep.

This hotel was very nice for the price. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is a Microtel so the room was small. I would recommend it for a short stay. Located right off I-85 which is only minutes from fort benning and shopping/dinning in the Columbus area. Would definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the amenities and friendliness of the staff. While not the best part of town, the staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Room was spacious and well equipped. Very nice exercise room and pool.

This hotel is in a good location and easy to find. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and clean. The room I stayed in had a seating area, microwave and mini refrigerator. Good simple breakfast to get you going in the morning. I will most certainly stay here again when I visit Columbus again.

Have stayed her several times because it is close to our daughter's house. The only problem was that the cooling system was hard to figure out and seemed to operate erratically - either too hot or too cool. Breakfast is ok - -just so-so selections. Coffee not very good.
