My boyfriend and I went to Atlanta for a weekend getaway. We're both in college and don't have tons of money to blow on our hotel *and* shopping around. So when we got this hotel for $70/night, I wasn't expecting too much...but it was awesome for the price! Unlimited soft drinks and popcorn from 3-10pm, free lunch (though the food taste store-bought ((but not bad!))), clean room, free HBO and wireless Internet, indoor and outdoor pool, and wonderful customer service. We asked for an hour more to check out and it was done in two seconds. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel, while off the the beaten path, was extremely comfortable and classy. Staff was courteous and INTELLIGENT! If you don't need to be close to the interstate and prefer comfort and higher standards, you will appreciate this hotel.

Very rude about the check out time. I asked for an hour extension and they granted me the extension when I checked in but had housekeeping knock on my door every fifteen minutes to see when I would be leaving. They were not busy at all this weekend either.

The Hotel rooms were nice and comfortable, but everything else was ordinary. I arrived to the hotel at 4am due to a delayed flight and was unable to enter the hotel for 40 minutes. I attempted to buzz the front desk, but nobody answered. The breakfast was good and the overall service was good. Again, nothing spectacular, but all I needed was a room to sleep in at a good rate. Would I stay at the Holiday Inn express hotel again? Yes I would.

Hotel is clean and smells good, fast service, and reasonable price. Only complain is no free continental breakfast. But overall, would recommend to everyone without hesitation.

nice size bed, clean bathroom and facility however the fridge included in the room was a bit old fashioned/out dated. I think the room can have a more modern look to it but nontheless it was a nice room.

Not much is around but if you are there on business it is quite and there is a resturant across the street that was good.

A 5 day stay. Seems to lack good personal comfort. Toilet seat didn't fit. Bathroom faucet didn't work well. Chairs not matched to the room and not very comfortable. It was like the designers who did the layout and design never had to live in the room. Had to call for the AC and heat to be fixed twice. Kind of dull and dreary rooms.

Well first of all the Hotel was VERY beautiful. When I got to my room it looked very nice until I sat on the bed and I saw that the room had not been cleaned properly. There was a very dirty plastic fork with dried food all over it by my foot. While I was in the living room I was sitting at the desk and I turned around to look at the television I noticed that there was a man's sock peaking out of the side of the couch. I went to the front desk and notified the receptionist. She was surprised but then asked me what she wanted me to do about it. I thought that to be strange that she wouldn't offer me another room. So I just said please and thank you. I also thought that it was odd that when I had asked about places to eat the receptionist said that she didn't know of a place that was open that late at night. Well it was only 11pm. I came to the area to look for apartments. I was looking to possible live there and to get both of my jobs to transfer me. I had been driving for 8 hours from Illinois to get there and I was really hungry. So I asked was there a gas station near by and she said yes and I would run right into it. Well she gave GREAT directions but when I got to the gas station there were at least 4 different places to eat!!! I was upset that she didn't know the area better. I ate at a place called the Waffle House. The people were so very nice and helpful and I am so glad that I chose to eat there. Over all after the food situation was solved and my room had been changed I think that it was an ok trip. I am not sure if I would return to that particular Hotel but I loved all of the people that I met while I was there looking for apartments and the gentleman that was working the front desk when I checked out. He was very nice and helpful. I would come back to visit Norcross for sure if I don't decide to move there. It is a VERY VERY friendly town and I loved the great tasting food!!!

To start with, not a knock on the hotel but hard to get to due to the fact that the area has many Peachtree streets and you have a round about way to get there but when you get there it's completely worth it. The staff is very helpful, the place looks great very well kept. the room was great no longer do you have to sit on the bed to watch tv with the sofa, desk, mini fridge, and wet bar made the stay very comforting. Throw in the free breakfast all for a very reasonable price, my kind of place, if that's not enough it's only about a 15 min. drive to downtown Atlanta. Well worth it.

The breakfast selection, freshness and presentation is outstanding. The rooms are stylish are comfortable. The only negative was that the tub/shower looked dated due to peeling paint. I suspect the bathrooms were not updated when the rest of the rooms were overhauled beautifully. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Although this is not a 5 star, or even a 3 star hotel, I slept comfortably and the front desk folks were very nice and even looked into emergency procedures for tornadoes for me since we were under a tornado warning. I have two recommendations: put in new carpeting in room 130 & offer something that is not sweet at their breakfast, like bagels.

It was a hotel with free wi-fi, if you could pick up the signal... Free coffee (nothing else)... clean but pretty much just the room, shower, and beds... room barely fit the beds.

Stayed there maybe a total of 10 minutes before asking for a refund to go to a safer hotel.

The only problem I had was with the swimming pool/hot tub. We stayed on a Sat & Sun night. When we went to the pool area (indoor) on Monday morning, the pool was much colder than Sat night. The hot tub was not more than about 90 deg, and smelled like dirty bath water. You could not see your hand when it was about 6" below the water level. This area is what sold us on the hotel when choosing it. Big disappointment.

Used this hotel as a crash spot while visiting a couple of atlanta locations. good location. 15-30 minutes from every downtown attraction, 5 minutes from plenty of restaurants, movie theater, etc. friendly staff, willing to help out, and the room was a bargain. full kitchen helped us to mnimize our expenses by cooking at the hotel and eating in instead of dining out every night. would definitely recommend and stay again!

I arrived lat but the information they gave me was good except the room was smoking had to change in the morning to non smoking which I have requested at the time of booking

I was surprised to find no microwave and fridge when I brought food to heat and drinks to keep cold. I didnt see a ice machine next to the soda machine on both floors. Didnt know it was near the lobby. The room heater didnt work and it was a cold night. When the toilet was flushed, it leaked water onto the floor. I almost left but I stuck it out. It wasnt the hotels fault, it happens and my expectations was greater. I shouldve read more details. Also it could use more channels on the tv.

I like that there was security at the hotel- especially since I had a late check-in. There was construction going on during my stay and it was quite noisy. The stairwell nearest my door was unaccessible due to the construction. Cleaning staff failed to provide extra toilet paper. When I called the front desk to ask for some, she indicated that I had to come get it myself because there was no staff around. Yet when I get to the desk there are THREE people there. Come on. No microwave or fridge in the room. OK to stay here during the warm months, but a pain during the winter since your room entrance is to the outdoors. Good location!

I had a late flight and arrived at the hotel at 11 pm. Front desk clerk was very nice, and even helped me carry my bags (I had four huge suitcases with me) up the stairs. He also helped me find a pizza place that delivered that late. So staff was very helpful. I was on the second floor, at the very end of a very long hallway. Wasn't thrilled about that, because I did have so much luggage and there was no elevator etc. The room itself was fine- huge king bed. The cable didn't work in our room, but it was very late so it wasn't that much of an issue.

The hotel was comfortable, the only thing is that from the road you can't see the sign, it is not high enough. The clerks were friendly. It was near some restaurants which was convenient.

We booked a room of 2 beds one week before and were assigned a bed with just one bed. Thus we had to open another room, which is much expensive than the original room since it was ordered upon arrival.

We were there just for a night, but it's close to the place we're heading so that's why I picked this place. The room is clean, although there is no elevator but it's a 3-floor motel. My room was on the 3rd floor, so I didn't bring my stuff from the car a lot. If I wasn't staying just for the night, I might pick a more lush place but this one is comfortable enough for a short stay. Maybe comfortable for a long stay, too.

Room was surprisingly clean roomy and comfortable. My only gripe was the limited cable and a small Television. Looked like a 20".

The hotel is a little older than some other La Quintas that I have stayed at. You are not allowed to take your breakfast back to your room which I thought was odd, I have always been allowed to at other locations. The workout room was three old pieces of equipment. The treadmill started to smoke and had a plastic burning smell after two minutes. The staff was helpful and pleasant. They were happy to help with any questions and give directions and suggestions on areas to go.

The hotel was nice but they just forgot to clean my room.

It obviously was an old facility. Their signs claimed they recently remodeled, but I could not see how and where that occurred. The place was quiet enough, and we had plenty of privacy. Personally, I suspect they do not get many reservations made in advance. We checked in on Thursday, December 24th. We were given two room key cards and a television remote control which did not work the television in the room. There was a remote control already in the room on the television which did work, so that was not a problem. We arose late on Friday, December 25th, and did not leave the room until early afternoon. When we left we noticed a housekeeping cart across the parking lot at one of the other buildings, so we determined there was housekeeping staff on site. However, when we returned to the room late that evening we discovered that housekeeping never entered our room; the bed was not made, the room's one small waste basket had not been emptied, and the used towels were still on the bathroom floor where we were instructed to leave them. We assumed that, since we arose late on Christmas Day, somehow we were overlooked. People make mistakes and forget things, and we understand that. We arose early on Saturday the 26th and were gone from the room the entire day, not returning until 1 AM Sunday morning. Again, we discovered that housekeeping did not visit our room. I went to the check-in desk to inform the man on duty there, and I'm afraid I was rude to him. He brought fresh towels and a set of sheets/pillowcases to us and apologized. Sunday I felt ill and stayed in the room all day. Housekeeping did knock on the door late in the afternoon and asked if they could come in. I said no and asked for a roll of toilet paper, which she gave me. Monday we were gone from the room all day, and when we returned we discovered housekeeping had come in and did what they were supposed to do. So, we had housekeeping service one day out of the five days we were there. This was a rather stressful trip for me personally for more than one reason, and the situation at the motel exacerbated the entire unpleasantness of the experience. I'm curious . . . is there a way I can get some kind of credit from the motel for their lack of providing basic service? It was a reasonable price for the reservation, but still I feel cheated. I would appreciate a response from you about this. How you respond will determine whether I use your service again.

The room is not clean, It not bad for the price that I paid for but it needs a lots of work, stuff needs to be respectfull to the customers and pay attention they forget to tell room number and to give you remotecontrol for tv set.

The first room as disgusting so I asked the manager for another room. The second room was better but still not as clean as I would expect. I believe this room was worth 1/2 the price I paid. There were hair from the previous person in the bath tub and and the bathroom floor. I've had much better rooms at other hotels for the price I paid. The staff were great and very helpful.

I was supposed to stay 60 days, stayed less than 2 weeks (couldn't find another place open). Dirty outside and inside, walls had paint peeling, missing coffee table, has iron - but no ironing board, broken dresser, missing kitchen items, very small bathroom, closet doors broken, and bad location. Oh - and for a long term place - two story, but no elevator. You have to tote your things up two flights of stairs, load by load. If you stay for two months, that is several trips! There was a used condom on the sidewalk the entire time. Stains everywhere. People roaming outside every night, all hours. I wish I could rate it a ZERO.

Very clean and quiet, the location is tucked away in a quiet suburb convenient to our destination - northeast Atlanta. Plenty of restaraunts in the area. A "real" breakfast - not the usual continental fare was provided. Most rooms have a fireplace with a gas log - a real nice touch. I would like for them to have provided a secure wireless internet connection (it was unsecured), but that's our only complaint

The room was clean and quiet. The coffee maker only brewed one cup of coffee and only one packet was left in the room. The breakfast bar was overpriced for the quality of food. But the hotel was located near plenty of Waffel House Restaurants! Also, the hotel was in a very busy area without sidewalks to the nearby restaurants.

Clean room, good nights sleep, no continental breakfast, phone charge for ANY call. Overall: clean, pleasant just NO extras.
