this is not a place to hang out in all day and have a wonderful view and great amenities right at the tips of your fingers, but that's what we wanted. We wanted a place we could crash that had nice bed (the bed was fantastic) that we could come back to after a long day of having fun on this amazing Island.

When we first started looking for plane reservations to this area for my daughters wedding on August 8th we were looking at $950 to $1000 per person.. My daughter saw the package we just got back from on Orbitz for about $1100 per person plane, condo and car// although on the car we did pay $150 more for an upgrade to fit all of us... over all everyone was well pleased. The Manager at Peou Ka Kau was exceptional.. She change our accomodations to best fit our group.. the view were excellent.

Great Family trip to the ocean. Rooms clean, spacious, and had great views.

My husband and I Were married labor day weekend 2011 and Hawaii was always my husbands first choice for a honeymoon. We waited til march to come so that we could leave bad weather behind at home and thoroghly enjoy what Kauai had to offer. Although hcr is off the beaten track it's his very fact that gave us the secluded, noninvasive, and unspoiled feel we wanted. It also gave us a great tour of the island as we drove from hcr to the east and south coasts of kauai... Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful drive. The lack of tv was great and the wifi was greatly appreciated. Housekeeping was fantastic and if there was anything extra we needed u guys had it. Having the windows open at night to catch the ocean breeze and having the waves lull us to sleep is a dream come true for mainlanders. I (wife) made good use of the spa and had a relieving 1 1/2 hour massage that was even better then expected cuz of being surrounded by the beauty of Kauai . U have great accessibility to gorgeous beaches and trails on the north side but it's still very easy to get to the rest of the island (landslides and road blocks permitting :-P) couldn't have asked for more!
