Die Lage allein erfüllt bereits die Bedürfnisse zahlreicher Gäste. Very small room but well equipped. Parking cost $20 USD per day extra and the lot was completely full every night despite being a hotel guest. Had to park on the curbside. No wireless internet available! Had a special with 40% discount, in this case good value for money.

Awesome view
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ala Moana Hotel. We had a partial ocean view and the view from our room was incredible. We had our wedding at the Ala Moana Park 5 years ago and we could see the place as well as the ocean. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for shopping, the beach and Waikiki. My only complaint is the bed was not real comfortable, but everything else was great.

The Ala Moana Mall is right next to the hotel and there are many shops and good restaurants in the mall. The beach is a very short walk across the street.

4 Star hotel with 2 star room
The location is good, near mall and transportation but the room leaves a lot to desire, too small for it to received a 4 star more 2 star. The view is less than to be desire, a seaview of 80% parking lot view. My last time to come there.

a bustling center of world tourism ... a place where conventions are held every few days ... airline crews, Japanese teenagers, Europeans, Australians ... even Oklahomans ... nice twenty minute stroll to the live-wire activity and swimming beaches of Waikiki .. directly connected (via walkway) to the largest mall in the Islands .. The Ala Moana Mall ... plenty of quality shopping for those rainy (or sunburned) days ... truthfully? anyplace in the Hawaiian Islands is great ... The Ala Moana is well run and is a center of activity for both locals and tourists

My visit was much too short.
I really wish I could have stayed for more than just one night. The fitness room looked great, the pool looked fantastic. My room was clean and very comfortable with a not boring city view of Honolulu. The woman at the Activities desk got me into a last minute Luau that evening. The shower was fantastic and the bathroom appeared to be all new fixtures. Coffee pot, microwave and fridge were all in great condition and functional. It was only a $12 taxi from Waikiki. My only gripe is that checking out or in takes forever if you try to do it near the checkout deadline. I was in line for 20 minutes to get out of there. I will absolutely stay there again.
