Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel

Internet wifi nur in der lobby area. Fruehstueck in lobby am buffet zum mitnehmen, schwache auswahl. Parken kostet 27 usd pro nacht. Safe kostet extra pro tag. Alles in allem zu teuer.

Over all the stay was average. We would return for the value that you get for the price, rooms were clean, tidy and great water pressure for showers. The only withdrawl is no coffee makers in the room, you have to go down to the check in/out area by the pool. It is close to everything! which is great. The Zoo is right next door and it is wonderful! Staff are average- Great Tiki Bar. Great value for your money.

Did not get the room we asked for, had to wait two nights to get the one we wanted. Doors slamming all hours of night and day. Flushing of toilets can be heard two and three rooms away. Day after we arrived the beach was closed for the rest of our stay. NO PICK UP OR DROP OFF FROM AIRPORT! Cost for going anywhere from the hotel was very costly.

The room is nothing special. I did find several long black hairs on the toilet and tub - gross! Breakfast included - do not be fooled - muffins, donuts and cut up fruit. If you want a waffle or eggs plan on forking over the dough. WiFi - charged if you use it in your room! Come on this is 2012 for the price of the room it should be included. Pool is tiny but no big deal since the beach is why we came. Beach proximaty was good but the beach was way too crowded - drive a little and enjoy the beach more. Overall not a bad place but definitely not a great value

Really close to waikiki beach. Amazing free breakfast But the hotel is kinda old.

It's too crowd and noisy. Don't think about having a complementary breakfast. If you really like red color, you can bear the room color.

Location! Location! Location! The room was not all that big, but if you're in Hawaii, you shouldn't be staying inside! The free breakfasts every morning are served poolside and you can even take it 100 feet to the beach.

My husband and I stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel for 4 nights in January. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach with lots of shopping and restaurants right out the door. The international marketplace is close as well. The rooms were small but clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the continental poolside breakfast that was served each morning. Besides a nice selection of complimentary pastries, cereals, juices, coffees, fresh fruits and yougerts, guests had the option of ordering omlettes and Belgian waffles at a very reasonable price. Additionally, the hotel provided each guest with a small collapsible cooler to pack with food to take to the beach or on tours. What a treat! Another amenity we enjoyed was the efficient elevator system. The were always available and very fast. All in all, the hotel was a wonderful find.

For its location at the edge of Waikiki and for the price, this place really can't be beat. Others have commented on how loud it can be, but I didn't have any problems with my ocean view (not ocean front) room. The room is not spacious, but really, why would you spend lots of time there when there are so many things to do outside? The hotel also has the best continental breakfast buffet I've ever seen.

Aston needs to rethink the breakfast that is included in the package. The pastries are way too sweet, no proteins are on offer, and there isn't enough seating in the breakfast/pool area for the number of guests who would like to sit and relax at breakfast time - makes breakfast a slightly stressful experience rather than a relaxing one. Wifi is free only in the pool area which is a bit small-minded of the hotel and so is the fact that they charge $3/day - decidedly not useful in promoting good customer vibes.
