October Visit
The hotel was fine, but we signed up for the free breakfast. The food was good and we knew it would be some kind of sales pitch. It was to sign up for sightseeing trips. The speaker was the main problem. We were familiar with Hawaii from previous trips and the speaker who was trying to sell sightseeing trips exaggerated and misrepresented many things, just trying to get people to sign up for his trips.

clean, small and close to ocean
we only slept there, there was only one elevator that went extremely slow! the rooms were clean and we were close to the ocean. previously i have had bigger, prettier rooms with quick elevators.

there is a real fun strip that you can some what make deals on things they are selling. a nice little food court also with many different things to choose from.

Convenient location. Self parking ok, always a space available. Tight turns, would not want to be parking a truck (or a Caddy) here. Rooms simple, but clean.

For a huge, cheap meal, try the Rainbow Drive-In. The "Plate Lunch" specials are a local tradition. The fish is a large portion, or go for the surfer's meal, a "Loco Moco".

This is NOT a great hotel.
This hotel is very small. The walls are very thin so you can clearly hear your next door neighbor even if they were having a normal conversation. Parking structure is terribly built AND you pay for parking but NOT garunteed parking. The location is okay... litterally across the beach. I asked for beach front view, did not get that. I did get a nice view but there was puke on the window that stayed there my entire vacation.

Good hotel for the money. The hotel initially put us in a smoking room with 2 twin beds but corrected that the next night. The whole experience was good. Although the bed was a little too firm.

Location of the hote is very good, easy access to everywhere, one block away to Waikiki beach. The air con units needs to be replaced, very loud noise...

Satisfied Customer
Was very satisfactory for the value and location. Too expensive if you did not book online, otherwise it was good value considering the location and the amount of time I spent there. Spent 4 nights there in June. Only thing bad was that the air conditioner did not work but I didn't really care anyways because I only use hotels to have my sleep. The ocean breeze was my air conditioning. I am out during the day doing activities so don't really care how fancy the place is as long as it is clean, economical and in a good location. This hotel certainly did fit the bill along those lines.
