Stay Hotel Waikiki

Eine Querstrasse von Kuhio Beach Park entfernt und damit mitten in Waikiki gelegen, ist dieses Hotel gut für Leute geeignet, die gern mittendrin sind. Trotzdem ist es nachts erstaunlich ruhig. Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet und ausgestattet und hebt sich damit erholsam vom amerikanischen Stil ab. Dabei muß man jedoch in Kauf nehmen, daß man auch ein Zimmer mit Doppelstockbett bekommen kann. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber wer will in Waikiki schon im Hotelzimmer hocken. Das Housekeeping ließ bei uns sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich möchte nicht wissen, wie das Zimmer noch 2 Wochen aussehen würde. Das Personal war grundsätzlich nett und hilsbereit, jedoch beim WIFI hörte es dann auf. Bei Problemen (und die gab es reichlich) wurde man lediglich an eine Telefonnummer verwiesen. Insgesamt aber für den Preis eine Empfehlung.

Good location, one block from the beach. Small rooms, but it was just a place to sleep and shower. Breakfast is sweet breads, toast and juice. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Relatively inexpensive. Also rooms are small, and barely furnished, but did have a balcony, from which you could see a sliver of Waikiki Beach. Extra $10 for amenities. I bought parking for $15/day, and couldn't have a place my last night at 1:30am. (Less inexpensive after $25 increase!) Nearby cheaper parking! Location is one block from Waikiki beach - great! Staff were helpful except for the parking. Very plain breakfast, part of the extra $10.

The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room also included a continental breakfast every day which was good. The location was centrally located and walking distance to everyhting on Kalakauka Av. The room however tended to be quite noisy during the night due to its location, behind a large hotel's loading docks... The room was overall real good for its price and location, you can't beat that.

The location is barely even a block from the waikiki beach walk. And there are some fantastic places on your block to eat and have fun. The hotel has it's own parking, but it is extremely limited. SO CALL AHEAD! reserve a parking stall. They are $15 a day, and while that is double what two other parking lots on the block charge, the 15 gets you in-and-out privileges and overnight parking. The other lots don't. Staff were incredibly kind and well informed. The place was very bright, clean, and simple. The queen single that my wife and I shared was a little cramped. Couldn't open the door to the bathroom all the way because it hit the bed. For us, the room was a clean bed to sleep in, located near the beach in Waikiki, for very cheap (comparatively;). If you want luxury, try somewhere else. If you wanna save a few bucks and still be in Waikiki, in a safe and clean hotel I would recommend the Stay Hotel Waikiki.
