Waikiki Marina Resort

The hotel is the oldest high rise in Waikiki but they have kept it up and still do. Room is large with kitchen; check in and concierge is on 2nd floor, a little unusual. They try to get you to go to vacation club presentation which is pretty intense and certainly more than 90 min. that they claim :(. Being close to Hilton Village is a plus; lots of things to see and do there.

This was our first time in hawaii and at the waikiki marina resort. Would have given 5 stars but accomodation by staff was lacking.It was all in all a great experience. The location was excellent, next to alo moana shopping center, restaurants and walking distance to everything like the international marketplace. Safe to walk at night and next to hilton lagoon and the fireworks at the hilton on the weekends. Space in rooms are big has everything you need. The only thing lacking was the front desk staff going the extra mile for their customers but if you don't need anything from them other than staying at the hotel then it is a great place. Find out for yourself but it is for families and budget friendly since you have the amenities of home and located close to everything. We had a memorable experience in hawaii and will definately be back.

Clean, relatively close to the beach, nice staff, additional pleasant surprises from staff upon arrival. Room is spacious enough even for the family of four, with huge lanai.

We stayed in the Ilikai under the care of Shell Vacations. The staff at Shell Vacations were excellent. The concierge service was the best that I have ever met and the reception staff exceeded all expectations in their service. Everyone was extremely helpful especially Todd Sykes. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The hotel is ideally placed for both shopping and entertainment and there is a trolley stop right outside the door. We would definitely use this hotel again,

Good hotel. Just a small walk to the beach. The hotel has a full kitchen with stove/oven, full size refrigerator, and has utensils. Not much for room service. They only did towels daily and full on Monday. The only parking option was valet at 22.00 a day, but discovered that there is self-parking lot behind the hotel for 80.00 a week or 4.00 a day. The hotel, of course, did not tell me this. Overall a good stay. -------------- Check-in was confusing. It's on the 2nd floor since it is offered separate from the actual hotel.

Pretty decent location adjacent to the marina and just off the ocean. Good sized rooms with full kitchen.

Walked around waikiki n dined in the area. Right in the hotel we went into a club and enjoyed the rest of the night there. Liked how the places were just walking distance. The room was better then expected.

We have no complaints with the very historic Ilikai Hotel, built in 1963, one of the first on Waikiki beach. The TV series "Hawaiian Five-O" was filmed here. The very reasonable studio rooms, very spacious, clean with a balcony and a great view.

Experything was limitd to what type of room you had. Was suppose to be a vacation was bullied to do timeshare activities and when decline their attitude really changed.

The overall experience was good. The location was close to the lagoon, beach, and malls. The size of the room was nice; especially the full kitchen. We also had a partial view of the water. On the other hand, the check in area for the time-share (Waikiki Marina Resort) was on the second floor. This required us to have to take two elevators as we were traveling with two small children. We requested a pack n play and it was not in our room as we were told. The laundry room was not up to par since all the washers were out of order. Each of the 5 working elevators were not big enough to fit the four of us with a stroller. We had to wait 15 minutes several times due to full elevators. There was also "construction" in progress and we could smell sewage from time to time.
