Wailea Elua Village - Destination Resorts

We had never stayed on the Wailea side before and I chose the Elua for its proximity to the ocean. We were happily pleased with the check-in, the very friendly staff and the accomodations. Our condo was beautiful, spotless and had a view of the ocean. We were close to the pool & exercise room that was small but had top of the line equipment. The grounds were impeccably kept. The concierge found us an off- site massage place that was more affordable than going to a large hotel spa. The only complaint I have is that the gardeners start at 7:00 in the morning with their mowers, edgers and blowers. We were woken up every morning with endless noise. We complained and the property mgr. told us they couldn't do anything about it because it was handled by the HOA. They said they would forward our complaint to them. When we walked on the beach path past the other condos & hotels one morning, I saw the gardening staff at each resort also working so they are all on the same time schedule. I think it just depends where your location is within the complex. That being said, I still would stay here again. I thought the whole area was beautiful.
