the greeting and regisration was very good. they could smile! room clean. breakfast was very average - waiter didn't know what "instant oatmeal" meant? we were charged $5 per night for parking - a little chessey. aveage motel - good cold pool

What a great deal!
Maui is a very expensive place - SeaSide was a very pleasant surprise. For the price we paid, we were expecting hotels like we saw in Honolulu. Seaside was very clean, very pleasant / helpful staff and close enough to everything - especially the airport. I will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Nice and affordable hotel.
I would like to say it is a affordable and good hotel in Maui unless you can afford the resort by the ocean. Room is clean, but a little small, staff are nice but they do not have microwave. It's close to Walmart, costco, whole food, etc. Overall, good experience with the stay.

charges 5 bucks per day for parking. bathroom does not have exhaust fan/doesn't work. waitresses at the restaurant seemed hurried and not genuinely friendly. should provide iron inside the room instead of a community ironing room. overall ok stay.

Thrifty and Centralized
If you are going to Maui but not for the beach resort scene, this place can be exactly what you need. Location was a great centralized location for our Road to Hana, Haleakala Sunrise, & Molikini Excursions. Price could not be beat and saved money to spend on activities and food. These places would have been at least 30 minutes further away from West Maui and slightly less from South Maui. Basic amenities were expected and rendered. They do have a nice pool and Kahului Bay Beach access. Could hear the surf very clearly at night. Shower head was below a window and so was low for me (average height) and I had to stoop to get under (my wife is short and had no issue). AC unit was a bit noisy but slept thought if fine. Parking lot (5$ a night) was not large enough for all guests and we had to park in an adjacent non-paved lot. This was no problem as it was only about 15 yards further away than the edge of the paid lot but was free! Highly recommended as long as you expect basic amenities and dont require the beach resort set-up.

Convenient location. Great airport access as well as access to malls and in town needs. Staff is always helpful. Good value.
