Wingate by Wyndham Champaign

From registration to departure, it was a good experience despite a few glitches. Found the hotel to be very clean and the bed super comfortable. The continental breakfast could be improved upon but not a real problem. Computers were down in the Business Center which could have been a problem to check in for our flight. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful in accessing the airline site for us to check in an print boarding passes. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were just stopping in Urbana for a short trip, and we found that the hotel was very clean and modern. The hotel was better than I expected and because of its cleanliness I felt comfortable the whole time we were there. The room did not gross me out, which is a plus especially since it was pretty affordable and I had never stayed with a Wingate by Wyndham. I also appreciated that since we were driving and we ended up running pretty late we were able to check in late (or really at any time) and our request to check out at 1pm the next day was granted even though the hotel staff had a full house the next day. They were very accommodating to our needs and I would definitely stay again, or even trust the hotel chain based on the quality we saw that trip.

What a nice hotel this is. I've been many places in the world and wasn't sure what to expect...I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing my 16 year old son and his friend complained about was the breakfast, they wanted more choices on the breakfast buffet. Otherwise we had no complaints, and would definitely go back.

Stopped on a road trip from Chicago to Florida, it was perfect. Very convenient, just minutes off the highway with large comfortable rooms! It was exactly what we needed.

Worked well for what we needed which was a clean, comfortable place to stay close to campus for an early morning audition the next day. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, amenities were fine--the pool and spa were empty. There were no towels in the pool area and when I went to the front desk for some, nobody came out. Here's a trick--if you need something at the desk and there's nobody there, walk into the little store area across from desk. It sets off a bell that brings out an employee. I had trouble printing something I needed for the audtion and the friendly desk attendant helped me get what I needed. Overall, a nice stay.

Room was very clean & comfortable. However, I could never find anyone manning the front desk - I needed to report that our safe was not working....the eliptical machine needed adjusting...I needed a receipt upon checking out - but there was not an employee in the lobby/front desk area other than when I checked in.

The hotel is in perfect location, by a ton of resturants and stores, nice area right off freeway. The rooms were very nice. The only problem was that we had to reset our key twice and the front desk was not always there so you'd have to wait (at one point 10min) for them to return to the desk.

I made my reservation late and had never stayed at a Wingate property before. I was pleasantly surprised by the accomadations for the cost on a footbal game weekend. I hope to be able to book a room at the Champaign location again. The staff was very friendly and courtesous and the room was claen and kept up nicely.

My wife, daughter and daughter in- law spent a weekend shopping in the Champaign area. The hotel was better than hotels stayed at in previous years. Price was a little more but quality of the hotel was worth the price.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, spacious, clean and quiet. Loved the fact that they gave us lots of towels! The location is alosa plus with lots of places to eat and shop within a quarter mile. Also, easy 1.5 mile drive into Champaign.
