Staff was really great, from giving me the option to self park to letting me leave my car an extra 12 hours at no cost, to being very friendly and helpful in general.
The only weird thing was that both the elevator and my room had a whiff of what smelled like body odor that hit you when you walked in and then gradually you got used to it. (and it wasn't me, I swear!)
It may have just been my room.
Otherwise, an excellent stay and if others haven't noticed the stink, then I'm guessing it was a one time oddity.

The hotel itself is great. Very clean, free coffee and hot chocolate all day long. Breakfast is a free buffet style with great food. This particular hotel sits on a gorgeous canal. If you're looking for a romantic, quiet walk late at night, this is the place to stay. My only complaint is parking. It was $17 per night. Not that the price was a big deal, but I didn't find out until we were checking out that parking was not included. Also the doors aren't very sound resistant. Otherwise, it was a truly awesome stay and I will be staying again soon.

Finding the hotel was relatively easy and it was located in downtown Indianapolis. Although newly renovated, the carpet, wall paper, some of the furniture etc. The room was small yet the bed was comfortable. The sink did not drain properly yuck! Water remained in sink for more than fifteen minutes. Our room key did not work nor did the parking key as a matter of fact when we returned from our event at midnight; it was not a good feeling knowing people were honking their horns at us; $17.00 per night parking fee. We were right next to the elevator - it was quiet but we could hear the floor squeaking/creaking every time the person in the room above us walked. The age old ice machine complaint is real. That darn thing is loud! The employees were helpful and friendly but the cost of the stay was not worth it.

everybody was nice the rooms were very clean and nice and the location wasnt that far away from everything we wanted to do allthough we had our do not disturb sign up cause we didnt get in till 6 in the morning and they just kept knocking on the door asking for housekeeping when our do not disturb sogn was up

Since booking this room, the brand of hotel has changed from a Holiday Inn Express to a Comfort Inn. Because of this fact, we had some difficulty in finding it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We cam to Indianopolis to visit an old friend and did not spend much time at the hotel except to sleep. They have a nice breakfast buffet.

It was fine and staff was very helpful. The restaurant was closed, but you could get food in the bar. Bar staff was not particularly pleasant so I gave up and went back to room. Pool Area was nice.

We were in Indianapolis for a Bob Seger concert. We had a great time, the Crown Plaza is a beautiful hotel and was very close to everything we wanted to see - within walking distance. The biggest complaint was that the beds are double instead of queen size - they need to upgrade. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My friend and I stayed here when we went to a concert in July. Rooms at this hotel sell out quickly so if you would like a good price you need to book early as possible. We ended with a king sized bed (with two females it was kind of awkward) but we kept the room because we had a world pool tub wich was nice on a very hot day. You are close to EVERYTHING at this hotel...downtown, the zoo and all the sports arenas (right across the street from Locus Oil Stadium).

We were in Indy for the Drum Corps International World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium, so the location of the Hotel was very convenient for us (right across the street from the stadium). The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were no problems, other than an elevator that malfunctioned (but was repaired right away), and a lot of noise on our last evening there.

this was our second stay. They had one elevator out but it wasnt to long of a wait for it. The a/c wasnt as cold as i like and the breakfast was still powdered eggs and this time they didnt even have the belgum waffels at all! Great Motel horrible breakfast!

We booked this hotel stay to run in the Monumental Marathon race as a family. They hotel is only 3 months old and the amenaties were fabulous. Rooms were big, has two bathrooms(one with sink and commode,one with sink and shower), and the continental breakfast was perfect. Has nice pool and adequate exercise room. Great experience!

We had stayed at the next door Courtyard last summer and had wandered through the Springhill Suites lobby then. I was intrigued by the contemporary and colorful decor, so when the opportunity presented to stay there for the Indy Mini, I took it. The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and chic. Loved the sliding doors for the shower/lavatory room and separate stool/lavatory. The breakfast in the AM was nice. All of the staff we encountered were very courteous. The location was ideal. Very close to the convention center, shopping, and numerous restaurants. Would stay there again!

Outstanding location within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Parking is expensive but this is typical of all downtown hotels. The WiFi connection is free and worked well. This is a family friendly hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel the night before we ran the Mini Marathon in Indianapolis. The location was great, the room was clean and modern and parking was very convenient. When we arrived there was a long line to check in but it moved fairly quickly. The employee who checked us in was obviously stressed about the number of people checking in and he did not ask us any questions like whether we were OK with a room with two double beds, it we needed to park, etc. But he checked us in quickly and we were able to park and get settled in. Unfortunately we were in a room with a door to the adjoining room and we heard the conversations from the adjacent room late into the night. We woke up feeling very tired but we were glad we did not have to deal with parking and were able to just walk over to the start line with just a room key.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Easy access to downtown Indianapolis and close to Great Lawn on White River for concerts. Valet parking staff very helpful.

In town for four days for a convention. This is my fourth time in Indy for conventions, and I prefer the Hyatt to the other spots I've stayed at in the vicinity: Marriott, Westin, and Omni. Clean modern rooms and building. Only thing less than perfect for me: I thought the gym and pool could have been bigger and better. The gym was adequate for me since I used it during off-times, I could imagine it gets a little crowded first thing in the morning. The pool was too small to swim laps, but that's most hotel pools. See the Hilton Chicago for a most impressive gym and pool. Breakfast buffet was solid, as was the Cobb salad and cocktails at the Lounge. Didn't have dinner at either of the restaurants so I can't comment. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and lobby are very nice and convenient to allthe downtown action. A king sized bed was reserved but when arrived, the prepaid reservation was only good for two doubles. Not what was intended from a weekend away with my wife. eventually we were given an accessible king room. Otherwise, the hotel was a good experience.

The location of this hotel is perfect. You are only a few blocks from the downtown scene with lots of bars, clubs and restaurants and the bar in the hotel was very nice. Can't say enough about the front desk staff. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Also helped us with an upgrade.

Stayed here for 3 nights with a couple of friends while attending the Big Ten Basketball Tournament. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the downtown location is extremely convenient when it comes to walking to the fieldhouse and all the restaurants.

Was in town for the Mecum auto auction and Indianapolis 500 museum and practice sessions. This hotel was centrally located for all events. It was 20 minutes to each and 30 back to the airport. Room was clean and breakfast was good. I did not eat other meals there due to schedule.

Great City Hotel With Everything You Need

My husband and I just returned from the JW Marriott in Indianapolis and recommend this hotel to everyone. After dropping off our car with valet, as soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted with appetizers and a knowledgeable/friendly staff member that escorted us to a check in counter. We were checked into our room within minutes. Our room was on a concierge floor with access to the Executive Lounge. I would recommend paying a little extra for lounge access as included in the cost is a delicious breakfast buffet every morning, appetizers in the afternoon, and an amazing buffet of desserts later in the evening. In addition, there are computers (and a printer) as well as refrigerators with unlimited bottled water and soft drinks (adult beverages are available but at an additional cost; complimentary beer would be a well-received bonus). The actual hotel room on the concierge floor did not seem to offer any extra amenities beyond a standard room on a non-concierge floor. Our room met all of our expectations with comfort, cleanliness, and a great view. Overall, the location is great in Indy; walking distance to all sporting venues, shopping, and restaurants downtown. The hotel itself, has two very nice restaurants (casual sports pub & one a little more upscale) plus a very nice lobby bar serving some great local beer. We will definitely be going back; there is now, no other choice in my opinion when staying at a hotel in Indianapolis as the service, location, value, and design are all the best in town!

We had an excellent experience on the club level. The property is beautiful and well located between Riverside Park and downtown. The staff was very gracious and knowledgeable. The room was quite comfortable and well appointed. The full window view on the downtown side of the hotel is exceptional. Our only comnplaint was the size and the design of the clothes closet which is very small and requires one's clothes to be hung front to back rather than side to side.

Nice looking with beautiful lobby and interior, and friendly stuff. But the room was smaller than most of chain hotels i stayed, it also had an old RCA TV. Maybe it is style to keep everything looking old, but it kills after you open water in the shower and it comes out rusty brown.
They have convenient valet parking which for overnight stay cost 25$

Very late check in (about 1 AM, late airport arrival). Check in reservation and room key waiting at the desk (last one for the day). Good included breakfast.
Hotel pretty new, location a little hard to find (no sign at the Route 40 turn off that I noticed, hotel at the end of a narrow curved street). Room quite adequate for the price (only staying overnite.)

We were there for the Brickyard400 during the last weekend of July.
Based upon my dearest friend's recommendation, I booked Best Western Crossroads because he felt this hotel would definitely be better than the one I stayed at last year.
We were pleasantly surprised...everything was better.
The front desk attendant, Debbie, was fabulous. She was so helpful, friendly, courteous, all round so very pleasant...she was our first contact with the Best Western and I can see why they have the word "Best".....she was..period.
The room was very nice, better than I had expected. We usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels and our penthouse accommodations aboard our cruises have raised our bar of expectations.
This hotel's room was very very nice.
I was not happy with the smell of smoke down the room hallways. We were booked into a non-smoking room but it basically didn't matter because the smell of smoke wafted into our room anyway.
I would comment on as not well taken care of was the "tub-surround". There was visible mold in the certain areas. Hey...nothing that a spray of bleach couldn't handle.
The room staff were quiet, demure and friendly as well.
The pool was wonnnnderful. Sure, we could see the vehicular traffic beyond the wrought iron fence but hey...we were in a pool and they were sweating in their cars......we win!! lol
Most times, we had the pool to ourselves...fantastic. We enjoyed 90+ degree temps at 9 p.m....what was the rest of the world doing? We were enjoying the Best Western.
Yes, I would recommend this location.
Slight detour off the main freeway I-70 but well worth it. We are coming back next year...you hear that, Debbie....see you next year!!

the hotel was easy to find on my gps, checked in late without any problems, the hotel needs to work on their showers some. good hot breakfast before leaving for airport. the shuttle took us directly to the airport to check in and when we came back we just followed the detailed instructions on the card they gave us. the staff are friendly and helpful. thanks a bunch

I stayed here for three nights to attend a course downtown. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It was a fairly short 10-15 minute drive downtown without any traffic since you do not have to get on the interstate. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Not a fan of the beds

One of the beds controller didn't register any numbers. We used the other one and just couldn't get it comfortable. I will never stay where they have these beds again. Also, it is frustrating to me that when making the reservation we weren't asked if we wanted a queen or king bed. We would have preferred a king bed not 2 queens.
We ate supper in the lounge and the food was very good.

Concert trip to Indianapolis

Me and my husband attended the SADA concert on 7/8/11 and was really looking forward to it. The hotel bar was nice but the room was average. The ice machine was out of ice on two floors and the cable was out the first two hours of our arrival. Other than that the staff was helpful.

Pleasant stay. The non-smoking rooms we had were clean. The complimentary breakfast had enough variety to be very serviceable, especially if you took advantage of the fresh waffle maker.
