Just an overnighter
It's all good!
As soon as I got to my room....I had a call from the front desk asking if the room was clean. That was a new experience! The room WAS clean...it was good for an overnight stay!

Dirty, old
There was a cleaning rag left in the room and the towels had stains on them. No elevator, or hot tub. The breakfast food and lack of room to eat left us wanting something more. The staff was friendly but I wont be staying here again!

Many sites to see, including the House of Stone - amazing and interesting, not a boring tour at all, a local trolly ride to historical places, old front street and even gun fights will keep you going! Could spend a week in town just exploring!

The Dude
A tad overpriced, but convenient
At $85 per night, it's probably a better idea to stay at one of the cheaper local motels in the area; the problem with these is that you likely won't find them listed [...], so planning ahead can be difficult. The hotel is okay. The room was decently clean and it had some nice amenities (microfridge, good cable, etc.). It's located just down the street from Boot Hill and some of the other tourist points of interest, and it's on the main drag, which is another attractive feature. Overall, for a cheap motel room, it wasn't very cheap.

The Thai restaurant down the street is within walking distance and--I kid you not--it is the best Thai cuisine you will find East of San Francisco and West of New York City.

Just a place to sleep
For the price, I expected better accomodations like easier access to the pool, possibly an indoor pool, lotion and hair conditioner and better electrical outlet access. I had to unplug the clock radio to charge my phone.

stay out of dodge
hotel was ok. one staff member was an air head. alot of flies because of all the cattle there. would never go back to dodge city there is nothing there. and what is there seems to be run by a small group of people that don't want anybody else to make any money.

Frustrated
Our AC would not come on. It was 9:30 at night. We were hot from softball all day. The room had not been cleaned. The front desk knew the AC didn't work and the room was dirty but it was the last room left even though we'd reserved with a credit card. It took an hour for them to find us another room...the handicapped room! We had to move all of our stuff at 10:30 at night after sitting in a hot room for an hour because the maintenance man wouldn't answer a phone call from the front desk to fix the AC. It took 3 calls back-and-forth from the front desk for them to even figure out what to do.

It was ok-it was a remodeled old facilit
It was an old facility that had been remodeled and was ok. It's really hard to get the "old" smell out of an older building but the staff was very nice, the room was clean and the price was right. We were visiting to go see the new casino and it worked fine for that.
