Perfect for quick overnight
We stayed for a night before visiting Fort Hays. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was pretty good, nothing spectacular. It was helpful to have a refrigerator and microwave. The only down side was the man yelling first thing in the morning at his family to get moving, when we were trying to sleep. I'd definitely stay there again.

Comfortable king bed. Clean room. OK breakfast. Reccommend you ask for room away from the Interstate.

Only if you have no other options
We had to stay overnight in Hays for my son's doctor's appointment. The rooms were okay but the hotel was definitely dated. I noticed that some of the rooms on the bottom floor had wooden bars in the windows to keep them from being opened. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything that was going on in other rooms as well as the loud feet in the rooms above. I was nervous to leave our vehicle outside for the night. Probably will not stay here again.

Customer service was good;however the shower was dirty and the smoke alarm battery was faulty so throughout the night it had to be taken completely down. It was frustrating after a long days drive.

nice clean room
this Hotel is nice. I was always leary of the lower priced hotels. But the ones I have booked through [...]this trip have been great. the staff is nice, the lady even helped me with my luggage up one flight of stairs. Room was clean and nice. It was located conviently right off the intersate, and there were Many different places to choose in the area for dinner...thumbs up.

The bed was very comfortable. The evening shift staff very pleasant, however they has no soap, period. The bathroom light was out and when we checked out the front desk personnel didn't really seem to care that we showered in the dark.

it was okay
Room was adequate. We asked for top floor and got it. The check-in clerk yawned in front of us and didn't bother to cover her mouth. thank you, I wanted to see how many fillings you had. sheesh, cover your mouth!

A Fair Choice for someone on a Budget
My experience was fair. The room, you could tell, was outdated, but it wasn't anything gross. I didn't sleep super well, as the bed/sheets/blanket wasn't super comfortable and the air conditioning unit was inconsistent. I'd get hot then cold then hot. BUT the staff was super friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again simply because it's a good price, but only if I'm not looking for anything special.

Go hit up the local dives in Hays. Ask around. The local brewery looked super fun! If I had been there longer and not alone I would eaten there for sure.
