The Hotel was small and bare bones. No pool for the kids and one lonely soda machine. Thank goodness we didn't check in until midnight and left by 11:00am. It is the 1st Hotel I've ever been to that charged for a late checkout, $10 per hour. All this for $83.00 per night. I won't do it again.

Was okay. Would have been better if I had gotten the room I reserved. Asked for a King bed and they gave it away to another guest. Ended up with a double instead and was offered nothing in return for their error. Don't offer reservations you cannot live up to.

Hotel had great location - next to shopping and restaurants. Right off the highway. Even though we had a non-smoking room, the hotel still smelled a lot like smoke. Breakfast was good. Didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. Room a little small for 4, but manageable for a short stay. Front desk very helpful.

The Best Western J.C.Inn has the potentinal to be a very good hotel if they would only spend some of their profits on replacing old worn out furniture. My bed had bed springs that popped as I got up. It was so hard that my joints needed to be popped back into place. The reclining chair also had a spring that poked right through the cushion. The remote the the T.V. was missing and I guess will be replaced a later time per the front desk after she contacted the manager. This I fear is a very loose term. The location is excellent right off of the interstate and only minutes from Fort Riley. But I really do not think I will return to this hotel.

We stayed here overnight while traveling through Kansas. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a train track right by the hotel and a train woke me around 5am. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Good location right off 1-70. Close to Manhattan which was important on this trip. Several restaurants nearby as well as a 24 hour Wal-Mart. The hotel was clean and breakfast was above average. The bathroom configuration is small and cramped, especially with a family sharing space. Bathroom sink didn't drain properly. Hotel was very noisy on a Friday night - lots of slamming doors well into the night.

The hotel has comfortable beds. The bathroom arrangement is odd - the door has to be closed in order to use the sink. When the bathroom door is open it blocks the sink area & mirror. The free breakfast was of the average fare - nothing extraordinary. The things I ate were fresh. The hotel in general seemed clean. I was only there from 2 AM to 8 AM. There wasn't anyone at the desk when I left. So I had to leave my signed copy & keys on the counter.

The hosts were very nice to talk with. The room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the stay with exception to the fact that they would not fill the cappuccino/hot chocolate machine because they said they did not have any refills for it.(The tape holding the sign was yellowed from age of being on the machine for so long.) The Jacuzzi by the pool had a slimy film on it from improper cleaning. These are the only faults that I found. They also advertise microwave in the rooms, but I had to request one to be brought to the room.

Room was clean and staff was very friendly. We arrived later than we thought and with a call it was all taken care of. The morning breakfast is complete minus meat but I guarantee that if you walk away hungary it is your fault. Although the bathrooms need some minor work the room and hotel overall were maintained well. Good nights rest.

Convenient stop driving between Denver and St. Louis. Nice, friendly, helpful staff.
Bed was comfortable, but not great. Everything looked clean, but there was a slight smell in the bathroom.
But I would definitely stay here again next time.

My older son and I each had our own room at this hotel. My first room was dirty and did not lock upon leaving. My second room was not very clean, marks on the bathroom counter, hair on the shower wall..and the smoke alarm started chirping at 0700 in the morning. The gravy for the biscuits was luke warm--warning light. The attendant at the front desk was very apologetic and worked hard to make things right. My son was fine with his room. We cut short our stay.

Candlewood Junction City opened April 2007 so during my stay in late July, it was still a realatively new hotel. The staff were all outstanding. The hotel is 10 minutes from Fort Riley so is a very convenient location for visiting military family members. It is also located approximately 15 minutes from Manhattan which is a huge college town so plenty to do when not visiting military personnel. Extremely clean conditions and upon arriving discoverd that they also accept pets which will be a plus for next visit.

This place is fine IF you are totally on a budget.
But the lobby is small, there is no room to eat the very basic continental breakfast, and this motel looks like an old 1970s Super 8 motel that is only moderately updated.

Between the plug cut on bedside light, the toliet that ran so bad I had to turn off the water to it to sleep, a tub that I didnt use because it was so badly stained I was afraid of it, the broken dresser and finally the walls were so thin the couple next to me were like newly weds and it woke me up to here screams of delight. Oh yes the so called super start breakfast wasn,t even a start and thier was no lounge like they advertised. N E V E R E V E R Stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS. I ask for a Hanycap Acc room. The bathroom was so small even with 2 legs it wound of been a tight fit. Glad I didnt have to use it much.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment. No reservations after 3pm on Sundays.

Staff and upkeep sucks...my room didn't have internet even though I had to pay for it....room is nice, almost like haveing a dorm suite in college. Staff was young, lazy and really not a good help at all. They overbooked my stay and wouldn't refund me. Guess you get what you pay for, good price and good location in relation to Ft Riley

Son came back from war, we booked this hotel on-line on an Monday. We then confirmed on Tuesday over phone as advised by past costomer review. The room was for Friday through Friday. We arrived Friday night and met my son at hotel to check in at 9:00pm, to find office closes at 6:00 pm which wasn't on description of hotel. We then called on an phone provided near front desk, 500 number. We then finally had contact with a nice woman that explained that there was no room because the previous customer had not checked out. Oh and that they tried to call us? Mind you we are 500 miles away from home at that point. JUST GOT BACK HOME, GUESS WHAT NO phone call was made to my phone! DON'T DO IT! I had used my home phone for booking the hotel. Had to drive 100 miles further to find a room for the night. DON'T DO IT!

Two of Four lamps did not work & were not connected to outlets, no outlets in reach. Shower light switch had to be wiggled carefully for light to come on, once on I did not turn off. Wall outlet at tv & one operating lamp had no cover & was pushed into wall. Shower knob broke off in my hand, had to get pliers to turn off. desk manager was helpfull. You get what you pay for. No bugs found.

The staff was very friendly. It was conveniently located. The TV/Cable was poor- a good thing I didn't have much time to watch TV. Didn't spend much time there- just slept. Beds were comfortable. Lighting was good.
