From the get go this hotel did not feel very safe. I am a single woman staying in a hotel. When I walked in to the hallway for my room the place stunk horribly. The room did not have a bad smell but the hallway was terrible. While in the room it was dirty and had patches in the walls. Had someone banging on my door 9pm looked out and it was a large male. There were children running up and down the halls screaming and carrying on. I felt so unsafe that I changed hotels for the night I could not sleep there because I did not feel safe.

I alway check matresses found open condom underneath the sheets.....was not happy!!! I called management i got another room but didn't sleep well......what the heck don't they change the sheets!! I'm rating this hotel as......Nasty!!!!!

-the room smelled horrible -flooring was coming lose -dirty rub -bug problems -holes in walls remained from exterminator -room temp uncomfortable -slow service- -service girl seem like she didn't care. was just working for a paycheck that's all

Poor repair jobs everywhere, lots of broken stuff: fence, ice machines, switches, etc. Room was clean, though. It was priced about twice as much as what I felt it was worth.

Good hotel for the money. No complimentary breakfast, but there was coffee. Site says internet in public places, but there was free internet in the room. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Sent me to a great Mexican restaurant. Very convenient location to university, downtown, and WalMart!

This hotel should probably not offer rooms until their construction is done. This place really needs redoing. It looks like it was a great building once. Maybe soon, but not now.

I will start off with the fact that the hotel staff was very nice and understanding. But...The first room we got wasn't even cleaned from the people before, and trust me it was very disgusting. They changed us rooms and one of the first things I noticed is that they moved us from a room with all the ammenaties to a room with a 19in TV no microwave and no refrigerater. After looking at the room even more. I saw wallpaper coming down in large 5-10 foot sections, exahust fan was broke, glass in the wall art was all broke, floor wasn't even swept, the heat/ac unit was not even attached to the wall and was pulled into the room about 6 inches, and there was a gap underneath the door that I could put my whole hand under. I would NOT recommend anybody staying at this hotel. The maintence on the building was very poor.

I was in town on business and this hotel was the perfect place to help me relax at a great price.

My first stay at this hotel and Lawrence, KS. Unfortunately, this was the only hotel that had availability for a football weekend. Now I understand why.

We checked in in the early evening. The location was great because we were there for KU family weekend. The hotel was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Had a mini Frig and microwave, we did not need to use. We would stay there again.
