Nice Location/Best value for your dollar
Super 8 was located in a good neighborhood. The rooms were very nice. I read on the website before booking this hotel room that they updated the rooms and got new beds. This was true, and the beds were very nice. I would recommend this hotel due to the price, location, cleanliness.

close to the action
this hotel is a few minutes away from downtown Lawrence, and close to the highway. look closely for the sign because it is small and blocked by trees until you are very close. friendly staff. clean, quiet, no complaints.

Good night's sleep
We were in Lawrence for the weekend and stayed here. It had everything we expected for a decent price and was close enough to downtown to make getting around easy.

The place seems old, but clean enough and comfortable. Our room was surprisingly large, with a desk, two chairs, and a queen-sized bed. Unfortunately, restaurants were not within walking distance. The light in the bathroom must have been 40 watts at best. With the shower curtain closed, it was decidedly dark. All in all, quite adequate, if not exciting.

The check in process went quickly and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The motel has free wi-fi, which was convenient. The location is good. It's about 10 minutes from Mass Street and 10 minutes to the college.

They said this hotel had improvements?
I read about this hotel online and it had stated it had done some improving, I guess I would of hated to see it before the improvements! When I first opened the door I flipped on the switch and nothing happened, usually a good sign. Next I flipped on the light above the beds and they were on for about 5 minutes until they shut off. I found the problem it was the outlet that didn't work. Therefor I could not charge my phone or my computer and needed both for business. I then turned on the heat to only find out that was cold air. I woke up in the morning with a dog barking in a room beside me and took a cold shower (there were 4 cars in the parking lot when I got in at 12:30 in the morning) so I know the hot water running dry wasn't the problem. While in the shower the drain was clogged so I basically stood in a bath. Overall, outside of the above mentioned, it was a glorious experience!
