I had not been to Mineral Wells since 1967 and it was good to visit there again. Our stay at the hotel was quiet and comfortable which is the way we like it. We especially appreciated the hot breakfast provided in the morning. We would definately stay here again.

I enjoyed this Holiday Inn Express more than most. For one thing, they offered a full breakfast, whereas most just offer juice and muffins. Our room was very clean and neat, and the staff was very helpful when directing us to local attractions.

If you are a light sleeper I suggest you get a room to the north end of the building as the traffic from the street on the south side will keep you awake. We got a handicapped room as I guess this was the only room available and it only had a walk in shower...would have preferred a tub to soak in, but at least it was clean. Plenty of towels but no iron in the room but there was an ironing board...little strange? We thought so. Overall...not a bad place but will look for something a little quieter next time. Not real close to any of the food places and dont arrive late and expect to find something to eat anywhere close. The sidewalks roll up early in this town.

Room clean, equipped with micro and frig, nice desk area to work. Bathroom is small with noisy door sliding into wall. Very friendly and helpful people working at check-in. Hotel not completely smoke free.

We have stayed here before and feel it has gone downhill. The check in went smooth but the property shows a lack upkeep. Little things like the dead bolt on the inner connect door not working. It may be possible to find cheaper towels
and wash cloths but we haven't seen them. If you stay here bring your own. No vent fan in the bathroom makes for a humid shower room. The parking lot was quite full so I would think they could afford basic maintenance. The breakfast was typical of many motels and not worth the effort.
Poor quality sweet rolls and no fruit. However the coffee was quite good.

Had to stay here in a pinch in December 2010 due to a storm. I would never stay here again. Place is not well lit, property is pretty run down, staff was rude, room was cold and not all that clean. We practically had to beg for an extra packet of coffee for the morning, and the desk guy wouldn't accept our discount card.

Due to a convention in town all hotels were booked and I was forced to stay here. It definitely wasn't my first choice, but I wasn't unhappy especially for the price. It was a little outdated, but the room was clean and quiet.

I grew up here and came for a family visit and have not made the visits as often as I would like to because of the limited choices of hotels. This hotel is brand new and was very nice. I was greeted by the friendly owner and front desk clerk as soon as I walked through the door. The room was very large and comfortable. We like to travel with our family dog and he was welcomed and they placed us in a room that had easy access to outside. I was very impressed with this hotel and hope that I can continue to stay here when I visit.
