Poor Room, Great Breakfast, Unforgiveable Billing
I got home from this trip to find that my debit card had been billed for over $600 of charges for a one night ($175) stay. I called and they said it would be corrected in one day - I am still fighting the charges. Don't be tricked by this hotel.

For the most part, our stay was OK
For the most part, our stay was OK. I feel the price was a little steep for the condition of the room and the service. We checked in very late, and the front desk person wasn't very friendly. We asked him questions and got the same response, which was "I don't know". The room was not very clean. The bathroom had a strong odor of urine, almost like it was just wiped down. And the comforters had tons of visible stains on them. The location was good. And the pool and pub restaurant downstairs were nice. But not worth what we paid for our stay.

Unbeatable location for the price
When we got to the hotel we ordered food at a local Applebees. When we got back from there we ate in our rooms and then headed for the pool area which my grandkids loved. Later we went back to the room and dressed for bed and slept great. I was worried about possibly hearing the trains as the tracks are nearby and after staying at the comfort inn which is next to the tracks; there was no noise. Great sleep. We had to get up early and leave and the checkout took a little longer than I would have liked, but thats my only complaint.

Short drive from hotel
There are many really good places to eat or to order out. Some places deliver. We ordered our food to go at Applebees. After a short drive we arrived and our food was ready. There is also a great nightlife area just a short drive from this hotel in the center of this town. The very same goes for shopping in this town. Have Fun-like we always do.

Happy Traveler
We had a great time
We went to visit our grandchildren and had a great time. The kids didn't want to leave the Hotel. They have a very nice breakfast buffet and omlet bar; and we all loved the indoor pool and spa.

Wonderful Stay!!!
I had an amazingly relaxing time. The pool was great and the whirlpool even better. The resteraunt food was amazing. I expected to go outn every night for food but I did not have to.

My review of Clarion Hotel Manhattan
No housekeepimg services for 2 days out of 4. Compensated with free breakfast but no cook available, so no breakfast! Unable to regulate heat or air air conditioning without reaching through ceiling tiles and turning valve. Would NEVER return to this hotel.

Good for overnight travelers
The Clarion Hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful, however the location was near the railroad tracks, and the noise and whistle of the train was disturbing at 4:00 am.There were no shops or restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, but the continental breakfast was overpriced.
