Baymont Inn & Suites Topeka

The receptionist was not friendly. The room had fleas in it, we went back to the front desk and asked for our money back and she said we could not get it back since we pre-booked. She put us in another room and never apologized for the fleas or the inconvience we went thru. I will not pre-book another room if we can not get our money back and move to another motel. Not happy at all.

My Boyfriend and I only stayed there one night and it was not that bad but needs some work. The location is great and customer service was good as well. The room was the thing that needed a little work. When I walked in the room it has a musty smell to it and there was staines on the sheets and pillow cases. Besides that, teh Baymont is not a bad place to stay for a night

Was an acceptable place to stay. Staff was friendly and room was dated, but clean. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

I was in town to teach a motorcycle safety course.

Checked my sister & her children into the hotel around 9pm and was given a room that was already occupied. Yes, opened the door and someone else was in the room!!! Talk about scary. Went up to the front desk and the clerk wasn't apologetic at all, just gave us the room right beside that one. Went inside and noticed right away that the bedspreads were stained and there were dirty washclothes on the floor. Pulled back the bedspread and found dead bugs then walked into bathroom and there were bugs on floor too. Immediatly got back in car and went to front desk and demanded to cancel room and called corporate to file a complaint and also contacted [...]to file complaint. Luckily the Quality Inn across the road had a few rooms left available so went there.

The hotel was clean and adequate for my use. Unfortunately the pool was not yet open for use. If this is important you are advised to check for yourself. Breakfast items are provided bu very little variety was offered. The hotel has many restaurant choices in the immediate area that might serve you better. Because of the ammenities offered I would rate this average at best.

I was there for a state bowling tournament. Hotel was easy to find and practically halfway between the 2 bowling centers. Many great places to eat within walking distance or just a couple minutes down the road.

The hotel was hard to find and very rundown and had exterior doors to the rooms (rather than an indoor hallway). I felt very unsafe there. I was in a "suite," which consisted of two hotel rooms, with a doorway in between, with two bathrooms. It was not in any way what I would consider a suite. The carpet was old and didn't look very clean. The coffee pot in the room was so filty that things floated in it when I filled it with water. I would never stay here again.

The Baymont Inn and Suites in Topeka was a good fit for our weekend getaway. It was easy to locate since it was near the interstate. The location offered us many choices for dining and shopping that were literally across the street from the hotel. Check in was a breeze, and we were in our room in no time at all. The room was clean, neat and the temp was cold. The jacuzzi was relaxing and although the pool was on the small side, it was nice to be swimming outside in the sun. Had a nice time at this hotel and the price was well worth the room.
