The Campus Inn is in the heart of Ann Arbor, within walking distance to Main Street restaurants and the University. This is my favorite hotel in Ann Arbor. The staff is very accommodating, have a nice restaurant for breakfast, and a lovely lobby to sit in and enjoy a free cup of morning coffee.

My wife and I were visiting Ann Arbor for an overnight getaway. The Campus Inn is the perfect hotel for visiting Ann Arbor if you don't want to deal with driving and finding parking. The location is great...close walking distance to campus, the shops, restaurants and the downtown area. The hotel is not the most modern, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed in a room with a king bed and flat screen tv. My only complaints were that the pool was closed for renovation, the bathroom was a bit small and the room could have used a mini-fridge. Overall, I would stay at the Campus Inn again and I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. GO BLUE!

Rooms are pretty, but small. A family of 4 including a baby with crib would do better to get a suite. Crib only fit right next to the sink and bathroom, so it didn't really make for a quiet sleeping place area. Staff was readily available and helpful and requests were fulfilled immediately. Excellent free breakfast, and staff replenished items quickly. Pool area was clean and towels were stocked. Conveniently located. Would recommend staying here again.

The hotel was good and we didn't have any problems with cleanliness or amenities. It only took 10 minutes or so to drive to downtown ann arbor from there. We did not try the free breakfast because we wanted to have breakfast in downtown Ann Arbor.

Clean, comfortable and well priced. There isn't much around the hotel but if you need a reasonable room close to downtown Ann Arbor this is a good match.

A very nice place. Just note that if you are going to University of Michigan's *central* campus, this is about a 15-or-20-min. drive away, factoring in stoplights, etc. It is adjacent to the *North* campus of the school. A very nice neighborhood, suburban, and I can recommend the Northside Bakery (down the road on Plymouth) for delicious breakfast treats!

Our bed the first night was terrible, so they upgraded us to a bigger, newer room with a kingsize bed and a better hvac system. Breakfast was abundant and very good--not just a typical "continental breakfast." Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great experience. I was in the gatehouse for breakfast, and the carpet was a little wet - they had a sign out but I slipped because I wasn't paying attention. The front desk attendant immediately got a fan to dry the carpet quicker.

Everything was great from the staff to the amenitie

We enjoyed the pool, hot tube, treadmill, and size of the one bedroom suite.

Used this hotel for a night out in Ann Arbor celebrating our anniversary. It was what we expected for the price and everything was fine.

I spent one night at the Courtyard Ann Arbor while visiting the University of Michigan campus. I had a rental car, so driving the 2 or so miles to the campus was very convenient. The decor in the lobby was simple and modern, with a large LCD screen showing the current weather and news headlines as you walk in. The room was comfortable and had free wi-fi. The only thing I would have liked would have been a complimentary continental breakfast, but they have great free coffee in the lobby and a nice little bistro where you can grab something to eat (although you have to pay). The staff was very friendly, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Seems like the hotel must have been recently redone b/c the decor was really modern & appealing!

Our room was lovely, very comfortable bed, very nice bathroom with lots of towels! The pool was warm and nice size. Hot tub was great as well. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location next to a shopping mall and bus to main campus of University of Michigan.

Walk to mall, restaurants. Interstate seconds away. Complimentary newspaper not USA Today, but New York Times! Campus, downtown a short drive.

Short stay on Thanksgiving night - the Hotel was clean comfortable and price was right

Attractive room. Clean and comfortable, fairly large, nice microwave and fridge. Only drawback was limited continental breakfast.

Not bad to stay there for that price. The problem with the people having late night drink and chat outside their room (just next to our room) was dismissed by the staff person who came soon after our complain. The motel looks renovated as they advertised, almost like new with some exclusions. We will prefer this motel to the close Days Inn. On Graduation days they asked about $157 (after taxes) for $90 room (but worse than w had in RED ROOF motel).

I enjoyed the staff immensely. The front desk was very accommodating from directions to replacing lost keys. The room has a microwave and large refrigerator. The room is spacious with a window that opens! I need fresh air and enjoy rooms that actually have windows that open. There is a game area, pool, spa and large parking lot. I particularly enjoyed how quiet the room was and slept well because of the quiet location.

I viewed the facility and used the workout room. I enjoyed the stay and will return to this location each time I visit.

The Clarion Hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes (by car!!!) from the center of Ann Arbor. They serve a small breakfast which is OK for the United States. The rooms are pretty clean but not very charming. Actually, the hotel is not really a hotel but rather a motel.

The air conditioning wasn't working very good when we got there - but they sent someone right away and it was fixed to our satisfaction.

I was visiting the B-school at UM and just needed a close place to crash. This was a no-frills cheap hotel that gave me what I needed: a bed and a bathroom.

Very basic however it will be a good choice if all you are looking for is a place to stay and you don't want to pay too much.

I booked a night and was pleased with the accommodations and decor of the hotel. Everything was wonderful. The beds were a bit firm, but not unreasonably so. Other than that, everything was picture perfect and I will gladly consider booking here in the future.

this showed well online and lived up to its promises; the lobby and the room were great, never tried the restaurant or lounge or other offerings. Attempted breakfast room service, but it was quicker to get up and drive into town. Being from out of town it was pretty strange to drive up and see so many different eras cobbled together in the different parts of the building... they definitely have a ways to go in remodeling to create one whole image, but overall i would (will?) definitely visit again, and recommend it to all!

It was an overall good stay for the great price and it was a great location, 10-15 minutes away from UMICH!

Check in was fast and easy. The basic building is aging and needs work/updates. Rooms are fairly clean. Difficult to regulate the room temperature…It was either too hot or too cold.

This was a great place for a clean, comfortable good nights rest. The only downside was that there were no amenities and the water pressure was too weak

I wasn't sure what Iw as going to get with Motel 6. We stayed here a few years ago and it was definitely in need of an update. The rooms are now modernized and upgraded with flat panel TVs. For the price and the location in relation to the Big House and downtown Ann Arbor, this place can't be beat. This is definitely a step up from no-frills, but if you're not spending too much time in the room, its not a big deal. The staff was extremely friendly and the area felt safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Good budget hotel.

After a long trip from NJ to Ann Arbor with our kids, we really had a low threshold for a place to rest our heads. Unfortunately, when we pulled up we were greeted by a crew of unsavory characters in the small unwelcoming prisonlike lobby.The clerk seemed not to care a bit about the conditions of the hotel or the safety of a family with children. On our way to the room, we were accosted by the overpowering smell of smoke, alchohol and urine throughout the establishment. Upon entering our allegedly nonsmoking room, we were hit with an even stronger smell of smoke and other unsavory aromas. We soon discovered an ashtray (albeit clean, to give this establishment what little it is due) and an open window apparently intended to air out the room.The room was dingy, and poorly equipped. We immediately returned to the front desk clerk, who seemed to not be surprised or to care at all about our shock over how poorly this establishment is run. He certainly didn't disabuse us of the notion that this place was not a safe place for a family to stay. Honestly, it seemed to be less a hotel and more of a flophouse inhabited by folks who couldnt pass a credit check for an apartment. We didnt see any business travelers at all there, either. There were other unsavory sorts in the parking lot as well as we escaped to safer accomodations elsewhere in the area.[...] the worst I've had in 40 years of travelling, including all the cruddy motels and pensiones I've put up with while travelling off the beaten path in the US and Europe. Stay away. You're better off tilting your seat back and sleeping in your car.

Kinda run down. Anyone staying here long term is in for a real disappointment. False labeling of this. Seems like a $50.00 room for which i paid well more than that.

In addition to a great location, this hotel has a decent continental breakfast and good wifi access. The only real problem is a lack of a bar, but the value more than makes up for that...

Very convenient location. Just off the freeway but no freeway noise. 20 mins from DTW airport. 5-7 mins from Ann Arbor downtown/U-M. Hotel was clean. Full hot breakfast was good. Nice swimming pool and hot tub. Printer didnt have paper. Computer has 20 min limit per session forced by the system. Nice clean linen and cool pillows. Flat screen TV with MSNBC and HBO!!
