Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark

The water park was great. Everyone in our group really enjoyed it.

Room was not ready. Couldn't check in for two hours after 4 pm. They had offered late check out to 200 rooms due to the rain. When we finally did get in room there were hairs on the toilet and hair in the tub. We checked out two days later and were told late check out was never an option even though we knew it happened when we checked in. Suddenly they said oh we changed the policy on late check out when the hotel is at maximum capacity. They made that rule the day we asked. Castle Rock has no concern for quality or guest happiness. They are out for money only. Would not stay there again if they offered md money.

We called the day before our trip to make sure the roads were open (due to the recent tornado). The staff told us they were open but when we drove into town, the road was closed. The hotel also did not have our reservation information...it semed as though they were extremely disorganized and were not apologetic for their misinformation. The beds were also uncomfortable and we could hear the people staying in the room next to us.

We checked in at 4:00 our boys (5&6) were so pumped to be going swimming in the middle of the winter (presidents day weekend). I had not been to Branson in over 17 years, didn't know what to expect. We swam till boys were tired, ordered pizza in the room, went to krispy creams the next AM, checked out of the hotel and swam some more. They have nice bathrooms for showering off, before we hit the road home. The WATER PARK was great for the weekend. Two big slides (42 inch height requirement), a lazy (fast moving water) river, lap pool, kiddie play area and water basketball area too. It was warm inside as well. WE WILL BE BACK for two days next time (next winter). Lifeguards are good and aware to surroundings as well, first aid ready. Oh yeah, they've got towels as well. The ROOM, was just a standard room. Nothing special. But that is, we stayed in the Atrium. It was CLEAN.

had to pay for breakfast and it was the same food most hotels have for free

the pool wasn't open for us when we had plans. it didn't open up until after we had to check out and we were doing things in the evening. we paid to go here for the pool but couldn't use it. might as well have gone somewhere else. but the place is nice. liked the restaurant but had to pay for our meal. it was nice that it was buffet style for breakfast.

This hotel temperature controller did not work, shower was gross with dirt and grime in it, the waterpark was nice though

The waterpark is great but the room for six was two full beds with twin bunk beds. two large people didn't fit in the bed!

We were on a limited budget so had to forego the more luxurious rooms available in the main hotel, staying instead in the separate Atrium motel-like buidling where accomodations were comfortable but hardly exquisite. But my children loved the waterpark and that made it a most enjoyable mini vacation.

We enjoyed the indoor water park, this made a world of difference. The temp in the park was very comfortable. Huge smell of chlorine but made me feel safe. We took part in indoor activities since it was so cold.Go Karts was wonderful on the highest temp day.
