Westgate Branson Woods Resort & Cabins

When we checked in we were put in a room with two queen sized beds. We had specifically asked for a room with one king. When we asked to be moved the staff said no problem and they said they would help us move. We asked if the king rooms were the same size as the queen rooms and were told that they were just a little smaller. so we agreed to move. That was an understatement. The room was half the size and when we sat at the small table and chairs that were provided we were sitting on top of the air conditioner. To make matters worse we had already called you back and added an additional night stay. When we called back an hour later and tried to cancel your personnel was very helpful but the hotel refused to cancel the latest added day. so we were stuck in a bad hotel room and we had decided that we were going to just leave anyhow and cut our stay short and lose the money for the additional nights stay. We had left during this time because we had reservations for one of the attractions. when we returned to the hotel I decided that I would make one last appeal to the hotel to cancel our reservation. When we returned the manager on duty was very helpful and tried everything he could think of to get his manager to allow him to cancel the reservation and refund our money but was not successful. Long story short the manager comp'd us the best room in the whole place because he said he felt we had been mistreated. The hotel rooms are the worst we have ever stayed in. If manager had not step in and helped this would have been a disastrous vacation. Praise the Lord. I would not recommend staying at this hotel/resort unless you stay in the high rise - other wise you are better off at a regular hotel.

The hotel was a nice location and looks great. There were several things that did not work in the room. Notified hotel, however they were never fixed. No housekeeping. I would not choose this location again.

The romm was nice and clean. But the location was to far away from the shows and activities.

I was expecting a six story hotel with elevator & view, I received a nice room in a cabin with about 10 stairs in the woods with no view (other than trees and other cabins). The suite next to me had kids and one of those connecting doors which does not block 6am kid wakeup noise. But I would go back again with more info on where my suite was. It was beautiful and quiet there. Evidently you could get pizza delivered but only purchase bkfast on site.

This would have been a nice place if the carpet hadn't been so stained/dirty. I clicked on Upgrade to Studio from a regular room, so really didn't know what to expect. It was smaller than a regular hotel room. I've stayed in a couple of cabins there at Westgate, they are much nicer; I will not stay at the studios again.

The Resort has nice amenities, our small children enjoyed the indoor pool, the hot tubs, and the basketball court. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the gated entrance with security on-site, it gave us a comfortable feeling that allowed our kids to walk around the property without feeling like just anyone could walk up to the property. We were so close to all the attractions on the Strip too! We will definitely be back to try out the adorable cabins! Only negative would be the beds, a little too hard for my taste.

The location was good and it was inexpensive. Housekeeping was minimal and the breakfast buffet listed in the amenities is SEASONAL so not available when we were there. Nothing special.

It was fantastic. We enjoyed our room - it was very clean and large. Peaceful atmosphere. Definitely be back again for a longer stay!

We stayed in the hotel part of the resort. It was clean and ordinary. The resort had great features for warmer weather; great outdoor space and beauitful grounds!

Nice and very clean room. Hotel staff was friendly. Didn't have to drive through the middle of Branson to get to Silver Dollar City.
