My partner and I stayed at this hotel on our way back from a vacation at the Gulf of Mexico. After driving for eleven hours straight, we were ready for some comfort. We got it. The big, old building certainly had a lodge feel: animal heads mounted on the wall, dark colors, and open spaces. The staff was very pleasant and did not question the fact that we had reservations for a room with a king-sized bed (always nice for the LGBTQI traveler). The front desk helped us find a place to deliver us pizza. The bed was very comfortable, and the TV was nicer than ours at home. In the morning we enjoyed the hot breakfast, especially the delicous biscuits.

We were there to attend my 50th high school reunion.
We liked the breakfast very much,and the free drink tickets was a nice touch.
The staff was excellent.
The bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient.
The bathroom sink stopper did not work; therefore the water ran very slowly out of the sink.

We didn't get to stay very long but while we were there, we enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. It was also very convenient to walk across the street to the Olive Garden.

We were in town while getting my daughter settled in at college. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice. I plan to stay there again in 6 weeks when I return for Family weekend.

This is just a basic, clean hotel just off of I-55 in Cape Girardeau. The staff was friendly and helpful, although I did see someone in the morning waiting for a few minutes for someone to come to the desk so they could check out. They had free popcorn available in the afternoon when we checked in and a pretty good continental breakfast available in the morning, which included bagels, toast, donuts, yogurt, cereal, bananas, apples, and oatmeal.

This was a pit stop on the way to Tennessee. Hotel was near convenience stores and many restaurants. Historical Cape Girardeau was our favorite (just a short drive over the bridge).

Hotel was fine for just the overnight stay that I needed and for the price. The shower was either not completely installed or has come loose, but didn't affect the operations. There were lots of kids running around, some trying the doorknobs of mine and other doors, but no real problem. An iron and ironing board in the room would be nice.

I live in Cape Girardeau but stayed at a hotel there because my wife and daughter were in for the holidays and my apartment is incredibly small. My wife and daughter like to swim so a hotel with an indoor swimming pool was a natural choice.
The free breakfast in the morning was great. Not quite a 5-star breakfast but quite good nonetheless. My biggest suggestion for Auburn Place would be to put a dressing room near the pool for guests who have outside rooms. It isn't very comfortable to walk outside to your room in December in wet swim suits.

I loved the breakfast offered at this hotel. So many choices, healthy and not so healthy!
I felt very comfortable relaxing in the lush, expansive courtyard.
The pool and hot tub were nice features too.
I stayed there for months while away on a work assignment. I was so pleased I didn't want to go home!
Staff was always very friendly and helpful.
I'd recommend staying @ The Victorian Inn and Suites to anyone not afraid to gain a pound or two! I just could not resist the biscuits and gravy - it was almost as good as my Mom's - and she's the best cook I've ever known!

I was suprised to have 2 tvs in the room and having a seperate sleeping room made it feel better than having it all in one room. It was real nice and staff very helpful. I am a disabled veteran traveling by myself and needed assistance with a medical patch. The staff was very helpful with putting it on my bacl for me.

It was a brand new hotel. Really appreciated the full kitchen. Visited the Missouri Wall Murals, Fort D, Mississippi River and Historic Downtown area.
