Road Trip
This was a pit stop on the way to Tennessee. Hotel was near convenience stores and many restaurants. Historical Cape Girardeau was our favorite (just a short drive over the bridge).

Wierd smell
The place smelled like a methlab at the end of the hall. We did not check in because of the bad oder.

Good value for the price
Hotel was fine for just the overnight stay that I needed and for the price. The shower was either not completely installed or has come loose, but didn't affect the operations. There were lots of kids running around, some trying the doorknobs of mine and other doors, but no real problem. An iron and ironing board in the room would be nice.

Cape Girardeau
Went to visit a college in the area so stayed at Super 8 which was only a couple of miles away. Room was clean. Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke so that was not very welcoming if you are not a smoker. Staff was friendly.

Fine Stay
We were welcomed by a personable employee at the main desk. The motel grounds were well-maintained. Likewise, the room was clean and everything seemed to be in order. Best of all was the price for all of the aforementioned. We would definitely recommend a stay at this motel.

Super 8, not so great
The check-in process was smooth, but when I booked the hotel initially, there was no indication that they had both smoking and non-smoking rooms. We are non-smokers and ended up in a smoking room that smelled strongly of stale smoke. We figured we could endure it for the two nights. The beds were rock-hard and difficult to sleep in. During the final evening, the cable went out in the hotel and was not fixed by the next morning.

Great time was had by both!
The staff was wonderful, very pleasant. The rooms were average size. The pool (outdoor) was nice sized, very clean, and we really enjoyed it. We chose this hotel because it was close to Cape Splash, and it exceeded my expectations (based on the price.)

Dropping into Cape Girardeau
The rooms were clean and adequate. Pretty much what I expect from a Super 8.

Cape Girardeau has a beautiful walking path, (4 miles). It starts at the Community Center which is almost next door to this motel. This is a great place to run. Also if you're looking for some interesting food. Check out the Global Cafe and their fusion cuisine.

super 8 motel
The room didn't smell like no smoking - the floors were filthy in the hallway and the rooms. The toilet would stop up and only 2 bath towels for a guest room that holds up to 4. Would have been terrific to have the maid service be able to speak english. If your in this country to work - learn it! We've given this hotel 3 tries hoping it would get better. NOT! We won't stay here again.

Nice Place
Very nice place. This was hotel style, with very spacious rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast.
