Pros: The staff were the best part of the stay here. They were very helpful and friendly. Shower had plenty of hot water. Fridge stayed cold. A/C unit although old, kept the room cool in 100 degree summer weather.
With that said, the rest falls under you get what you pay for.
Cons:
The room was worn out and outdated- old stained carpet, soot covered ceiling, peeling wallpaper, caked on dust on clothing rack and luggage valet, dirty mirrors, broken sink faucet handles, poor misc. amateurish repairs throughout, bed cover had cigar burns, uncomfortable bed (I think the mattress was just bare springs covered with thick blankets and a sheet, very lumpy and could feel springs poking through), cockroaches, steady stream of noise from trucks rolling by outside.
In the room I stayed in - missing a desk/work area/table, not nearly enough power outlets, very poor internet reception (not managed by hotel), and a shower head no higher than 5 feet from tub floor.
The photos shown on the site were highly inaccurate representation of actual room conditions. Without exaggeration I suspect they were taken at least 15 years ago and photos edited to remove surroundings and touch ups.
In summary, the place has seen better days but if you're not squeamish and just looking for a place to crash for a night or two, the price is OK.
Would not stay here again unless major renovations were made to repair and clean up the rooms.

Our non smoking room smelled like the inside of an ashtray and was run down to say the least. In the middle of the night I discovered a LARGE roach in the bathroom which I caught and took to the desk in the morning after staying awake all night wondering what else might be in this room. I was told Oh, just a waterbug we sprayed 2 weeks ago and he should be dead. Sure looked like a cockroach to me! The parking is almost on top of a very busy street and entrance ramp to a highway so this place is anything but quiet. In fact in order to backout of our parking place we had about the width of one lane of traffic to the street with nothing between us and the busy traffic. I have never written a bad revue but this place truely deserves one.

We got there and it was really nice. The door to our bathroom didn't lock and it got stuck..? We really didn't need it to lock, but it was weird that it didn't. Also early in the A.M. they were doing some sorta construction around our room and it woke us up. But the rooms were really clean, beds were super soft and comfy, and the location was awesome!It was walking distance from the historical district in Hannibal. The hotel staff was super nice and really helpful. I liked that check out wasn't until noon, so i actually had time to enjoy myself. it was motel style parking, and there were two spots in front of every room, which was nice.
Check in and check out was really fast. They also had a free breakfast in the morning!!
I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE and EVERYONE and I am totally staying there again.

Good location to Mark Twain's attractions and riverfront. Room trash can not emptied and hair in the shower - did not use. Good rate for area.

Toured the Mark Twain museums and the Cave. Hotel could have used light blocking drawable curtains. A room with two double beds could have used a sink outside the bathroom. The continental breakfast was only average. They could use a waffle maker, yogurt, fresh fruit and more sweet roll donut options.

I needed a one-night stay to break up an 18-hour drive. This hotel was right on my route. Perfect. It was easy to find an eatery from there as well. The downside of the location is that it's a little noisy because of the highway, but I was way tired and managed to nod off and get a good night's sleep. The hot breakfast was a good start to another day of driving. I'll be making this trip again later this winter, and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a fairly basic hotel but had a great price. Good size room in decent condition, but not exceptional. Nothing special though. The hot tub was broken down while we were there but they did have an indoor pool and a continental breakfast and free wifi. So overall a good bargain.

Budget motel. Good location to get rest, gas & food. Quiet motel. There was no road noise, horns or other sounds. Gave me a good quiet sleep. Breakfast was included and had eggs, coffee, juice, and danish. Nothing fance but adequate.

Very nice. We had a very large room. Everything was in order. The local Junior Prom was held at the hotel, but from our room, you would never had known that any event was going on. It must be a very nice hotel if the local high school is willing to hold their Junior Prom festivities at the hotel.

Breakfast just okay ... Where did they get that bacon? Awful stuff. May be it was "bacon food" made from soy beans and laced with fiberglas to give it structure.

The Super 8 Hannibal was very clean and comfortable. I seldom find that the beds are soft enough to actually sleep on, but this was one of the best that I have found in a motel to date. Staff was nice and friendly and the free coffee was good. The TV worked adequately, as did the free wifi.

For the price I was paying I was expecting a not so nice place but was pleasantly surprised. Its an older place but have paid a lot more for a lot less in the past. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kids loved the pool! The rooms were a little over scented but I opened the window for a few minutes and that was fixed. You should plan to bring your own shampoo/conditioner but for the price not a big deal. Would definetly suggest to others and will visit again.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this as 5 1/2 to 6.No major complaints but felt I could have made a better decision picking a motel.
