Never to go back
Wouldn't go back.
At first glance the room looked fine as we were only staying for one night. We were in a rush to check-in and get back to the boat habor for our dinner cruise. When we returned to the room hours later we decided to use the shower to cool off from the july heat. During our showers the tub started to fill up with water as the drain was clogged. As I'm standing in the water I notice a large black spot between the tub and the tile. The only thing that came to mind is mold. The next morning I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and found a line of water on the floor running to the drain which seemed to be leaking from the bottom of toliet. My wife and I came to the same conclusion, NEVER AGAIN will we use this hotel chain.

The room smelled strange and made me stuffed up. It was not what we expected.

Pool all to ourselves!!!
I took my 9 yr old nephew to Hannibal, MO for the Mark Twain sites. The hotel met our needs exactly. It was easy to find, and we were able to pull right up to the door of our room. The room was large, and we each had our own queen size bed. At the end of the day we were ready for a relaxing swim in the pool. There are many steps to reach the pool, but for a 9 yr old, it was a great adventure to find. Once we were there, we had it all to ourselves for over an hour. We would have stayed longer, but a storm was brewing and lightning started. The breakfast offering the next morning was simple, but hearty. My nephew loved the teddy bear waffles. If I go back to Hannibal, I would stay here again.

We did the downtown Tom Sawyer sites and the paddle boat ride the first day, and started out the next morning going to the cave. We had a small tour group, and a very personable tour guide. It really helps to read the Mark Twain books before you go, the the town will come alive with history.

I was not able to occupy the room. They had used pine sol to clean the room and the fumes were so stong we could not stay in the room. They had no other room of same set up. Moved to another hotel

Hotel Stay
We got there and it was really nice. The door to our bathroom didn't lock and it got stuck..? We really didn't need it to lock, but it was weird that it didn't. Also early in the A.M. they were doing some sorta construction around our room and it woke us up. But the rooms were really clean, beds were super soft and comfy, and the location was awesome!It was walking distance from the historical district in Hannibal. The hotel staff was super nice and really helpful. I liked that check out wasn't until noon, so i actually had time to enjoy myself. it was motel style parking, and there were two spots in front of every room, which was nice. Check in and check out was really fast. They also had a free breakfast in the morning!! I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE and EVERYONE and I am totally staying there again.

There is this nice little pizza place called Breadeaux Pizza. It was seriously the BEST Breadeaux I have EVER eaten at. The staff there was super friendly, and they were really fast with our pizza. It was right on the river, so when we were done eating we took a short walk on the river front.

Had a ceiling fan, some lights and a fan in the bathroom that did not work. The carpet was very soiled.

Nice place to lay your head for one night.
I went to Hanibal to meet someone. The hotel purpose was just for me to lay my head for the night. It serve it purpose for what I wanted it form. It had a nice complentmentry breakfast bar to get me going in the morning. The bed was comptable & the water was hot. What else do you need when you are only need a place to lay your head for a few hours.

Pleasing stay
The room was comfortable, the straff friendly and helpful. The only recommendation is that the wallpaper needs to be replaced.

Good location to Mark Twain's attractions and riverfront. Room trash can not emptied and hair in the shower - did not use. Good rate for area.
