Motel 6 Jefferson City

Good, no shampoo in the room. had to wait to check out noone at the desk

Smell of smoking everywhere, even where it says "non-smoking," and even in the room. No shampoo, no hair conditioner, no comb. So please remember to bring your own. Other than that, it's good for the price.

Price was great. Room was horrible. The bathroom door would not shut, the outlet in the bathroom did not work. Mold in the shower & on the bathroom floor. Food (at least that is what we think it was)was smashed into the carpet between the 2 beds.

First of all, the hotel is conviently located to downtown. This was extremely helpful since most of what you want to see while in Jefferson City, is mostly downtown. Check-In was very easy. Room was ready and exactly as described. I will say, you get what you pay for. The bathroom door didn't have a lock (but as a couple, who cares?) The king sized bed, was just that. Although ours had a dip in it, not very comfortable, but if you slept on the other side, then you were fine. I wish that there was at least a hair dryer and a coffee pot in the room. I don't usually take mine when traveling (most hotels have one), same with the coffee maker. There is one downstairs, so that helped me with my quick fix until I found the nearest coffee spot. We had a great time, with or without the norm room. We can't complain, under $50 dollars a night for a smoking, king sized room. Thanks Motel 6.

They had bed bugs very bad. My husband was lying in the bed when he saw them resting after the drive. We had been there for about an hour and a half. When we called the owner, he came in the room, grabbed some tissue and started picking them off the bed and flushed them down the toilet because I was taking pictures. He first said we could move to another room, but when we found out that someone else was complaining about bed bugs. He made them and us leave his hotel. He got very angry and kept saying this has never happened before, but the way he was acting made me wonder if he was telling the truth or not. I will not return there again.

After traveling 12 hours, upon check-in at this indiviually owned Motel 6, the owner did not want to honor the rate we had received with [...]. He said the the rate we found on [...] was too low and his rates more than double a night. The total he tried to charge us was almost triple the quoted price from [...]. My husband and I had to BOTH call [...] to get the the owner to honor the rate we quoted. This took over an hour. Then after the owner agreed to accept the [...] quote he then proceed to attempt to deny my two dogs. (One is 5 pounds the other is 8 pounds.) Upon booking this hotel we made sure this was a pet friendly hotel! The owner then proceeded to say we were only allowed one pet and that we would have to make other accomodations for one of our dogs. We had to call the corporate office of motel 6 to find out that they do not have a limit on the number of pets a guest can have. To make a long story short, after another hour on the phone with [...] and the corporate office, he stated he would accept both pets, but this was after the corporate office filed a complaint on the owner. The beds were very hard and the tub filled with water everytime we took a shower. It took until the last day of our stay to get fixed. Stay as far away from this motel as you can!

Really great room for the money.

I was there for my daughters graduation, and the hotel was a mess, and just stunk everywhere. Because of graduation all other hotels were booked or I would not have stayed at all. Front desk all the way up to management very sharp and rude. No housekeeping was even done the first 2 days of stay, even after talking to staff about it. Will never stay again, also filled a complaint with corp. Motel 6, but never recieved call back or email notification. Which just shows me how much pride this corporation really has. I have cancelled all my corporate and personal ties to this company. Also any charitiable events will not be help or associated in any means with this corporation.

Rooms are as expected for the price. Way too much noise at night, people shouting at each other, banging doors....I was worried about the problems escalating.

I was there to visit a friend, and the room was a well need place to chill out and relax.
