The staff was very helpful and pleasant. My GPS had gotten us lost and when i called the hotel for directions the man helped us out quickly and efficiently. Our cards got scrambled accidentally (Don't have them mixed up with your cell phones!) and they fixed it with no problems. Didn't detect even a little bit of frustration from them and that's what i loved most about the hotel.
The room was also perfect and exceeded our expectations. We thought it would be smaller than it actually was and was pleasantly surprised. The Location is also awesome; Directly across the street from the outlet mall. Also, when we were looking for a place to eat, the staff had plenty of recommendations that he marked down on a map of the area for us. Very awesome.

Overall our stay was fine. our room was smoke free and it smelled clean. The hallways smelled of strong cigarette smoke. and the other thing was when we came back to our rooms one evening, our bed was made, but our pillows were thrown on the floor.

We were at the Resort at The Lake Condo. during the end of October and really enjoyed the picture perfect view of the lake. One of the best things about this resort is that there is no commercialism to look at. The only view from the balcony is the lake and the beauty of nature. We shopped, dined, relaxed on the balcony and watched movies, and cheered for the Cardinals playing in the World Series. . It was the perfect fall getaway. Tthe condo is easy to get to now that HWY 54 has been revamped and takes you directly to Passover Road. We will come back again soon. Other places we have stayed at are noisy and too commercialized. This is the most relaxing place I've ever stayed at since we've been coming to the lake for vacations and weekend getaways.

I have seen others comment about the smell in this particular hotel---I'd definitely have to agree. Very strong cleaning fluid smell, mixed with smoke and mold. The shower had paint falling down from the ceiling in one corner and the toilet would run constantly (for 20-25 minutes or more) if you did not pull the handle up immediately.
That being said, having an outdoor and indoor pool was nice and they were relatively unoccupied the entire time I was there. The hot tub was nice in that it was actually hot! And the jets felt great. There is also a dry sauna in the indoor pool area.
The breakfast is your standard fare; nothing exciting (donuts, muffins, bagels) along with hot waffles and biscuits and gravy.
The main upside to this hotel is the location. It's on the west end of Osage Beach--not far from the outlet mall, the Grand Glaize part of the lake, or Ha-Ha Tonka State Park. It's also relatively close to the Bagnell Dam "strip," if you're so inclined (I really wasn't.)
In closing, it wasn't the worst hotel I've ever been to (any Motel 6 has that dubious distinction), but it has a long way to go towards being the best motel I've ever stayed in, too.

My complaint is more about Orbitz than this hotel. The room was more expensive on Orbitz than it would have been if I would have called them directly. Plus, Orbitz did not advertize the additional fee for my dog. But, the worst thing was that I was put in a smoking room. The hotel said that Orbitz schedules "as available" smoking preferences, rather than exact preferences. They did their best to spray the room with ordorizing agents and they brought in a device that pulled a lot of the smell from the room. But, it was very difficult sleeping (as a non smoker) in a smoking room. I am extremely disappointed in Orbitz!

This is a fine place to stay at the Lake of the Ozarks for a reasonable price. It is owned by a couple who live there and put their life into making your stay pleasant.
It is about a year old and is clean and quiet. I highly recommend it!!

We always drive to Osage Beach Mo. from Wi. to
see the Main Street Opry, the only country music
show in Osage. It is well worth the trip.
The motel was a very good place to stay after a long
day of driving. The pool was very nice & warm.
The staff was most pleasant.

We also serve a Free SuperStart Continental Breakfast to help get your day started off right. Relax and enjoy our Hot Tub open seasonally from March through November. The Pool will be closed from November 10th 2011 until January 21st 2012. The Pool may open on Christmas depending upon reservations.

The hotel smelled bad and was very dingy, also I payed Otbitz EXTRA to have a non smoking room and when we checked in there was a sign that said the hotel was smoke free

This hotel is OK for the money. Rooms were clean but a little worn. Cooling worked well on a 95 degree day. Has both an indoor and outdoor pool. Hot tub was way to hot to get in. The water was scalding. Continental breakfast was sparse. Could choose from a bagel, a muffin, fruit loops and bran cereal,coffee and OJ. Oh and a waffle if you could catch it berfore they ran out of batter. That's it Staff was friendly enough. If you just need a cheaper place for a night this place is ok. If you want more of a vaction experience look elsewhere.

Hotel was cheap and close to the activities in Osage Beach. It was an old place, not beautiful, but the room was very clean. Right next door to a good go-cart track and mimi-golf.
