Great weekend!
Came down to the Lake of the Ozarks for a get-away weekend. A little shopping, nice meal and little R&R. The Comfort Inn was perfect. Easy to get to, staff very nice and breakfast was great. Would stay there again.

it's just okay
most of the staff was helpful and curtious.other than the spider bites and the bathroom light blinking on and off. other than that it was alright. i would say they are over rated.

Good hotel for a great price!
This hotel was nothing fancy, but it served the purpose. The rooms were clean and decent and the free breakfast was pretty good. The pools were also a nice amenity as well as the hot tub.

Marvelous Mindy
It's not bad, but it's not great, either
I have seen others comment about the smell in this particular hotel---I'd definitely have to agree. Very strong cleaning fluid smell, mixed with smoke and mold. The shower had paint falling down from the ceiling in one corner and the toilet would run constantly (for 20-25 minutes or more) if you did not pull the handle up immediately. That being said, having an outdoor and indoor pool was nice and they were relatively unoccupied the entire time I was there. The hot tub was nice in that it was actually hot! And the jets felt great. There is also a dry sauna in the indoor pool area. The breakfast is your standard fare; nothing exciting (donuts, muffins, bagels) along with hot waffles and biscuits and gravy. The main upside to this hotel is the location. It's on the west end of Osage Beach--not far from the outlet mall, the Grand Glaize part of the lake, or Ha-Ha Tonka State Park. It's also relatively close to the Bagnell Dam "strip," if you're so inclined (I really wasn't.) In closing, it wasn't the worst hotel I've ever been to (any Motel 6 has that dubious distinction), but it has a long way to go towards being the best motel I've ever stayed in, too.

The outlet mall is not very far away with lots of different retail options. Ha-Ha Tonka State Park is a moderate drive away with all kinds of hiking trails and jaw-dropping views.
