You heard the expression, "You get what you pay for"...and I got what I paid for. The good things: the staff was friendly and quite helpful; the location was perfect as it was near the expressway; eateries were next door (A Mexican Restaurant) and surrounding vicinity; gas station was on the property. The bad things: the place literally looked dumpy; an ugly, run down pool area serving as a storage area was clearly visible; the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke; the bathroom toilet seat was loose and comes off easily; the towels looked run down and overused; the carpet is worn down and torn in the room; old TV; the bed felt and looked like thousands of people slept on it-it was lumpy and you can tell they never changed the pillow as it smelled of perfume and had loose hair on it. The grounds looked dirty and had trash in most places. I only stayed one of the two nights and would not return again.

The water in the sink dripped all the time. Toliet was difficult to flush. But the hotel is being remodeled. So expect better things in the future. Not far from Fort Leonard Wood,

This Motel is by no means nice. It was dirty, one of the beds was slept in and not changed, there were cockroaches in the room and in the cereal at the breakfast offered,The phone in the room did not work so we had to walk to the front desk to complain. We went and bought bug spay and sprayed everything and stayed since we prepaid and couldn't get our money back.

Let first off by saying this is by far the worst hotel ever. First thing it is nothing like what is describe on the website. Upon walking into our room it smelled really bad, the floors were so dirty i would not dare walk around bare foot. The biggest thing was they had bugs climbing up the walls. Needless to say we walked right out of our room and went and tried to talk the front desk about a refund. As it stands i am still trying to get a refund cause the hotel will not give me my money back but they would offer us another room. [...] So just to be warned no body should do with [...]this hotel [...] very shady.

The hotel improved as we entered as it had just been freshly painted, but the computer was down and record of reservation was not available for a few minutes. Over heard one of the staff talking about hot water not working in one of the rooms, then couple hours later got a coll from the front desk that hot water heater was out but would be up and working before checkout in the morning. At the pathetic excuse for continental breakfast with broken lawnmowers (missing wheel) hear the manager talking with the repair person about how long it will take to get a new water heater (3-4 days)!! At checkout discuss with the girl behind desk and she had the audacity to say that it was all fixed, but would not go as far as to offer for me to extend my stay by a few minutes for a warm shower. I do believe that she was at least miss informed as the the state of the rapairs because on conversation with the repair man he had done nothing but make phone calls all day... The fact that I was lied to made me more upset than the cold shower!
