Good value for out of ordinary hotel
Convenient to the downtown area and the casino. Within walking distance which was great. The hotel was clean, quaint and safe. Not your typical cookie cutter hotel. Bed was comfy, used the wi-fi and the pool. I would definately recommend it to others and stay there again.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and noise-free(TV or talking) from other guests. The breakfast was very nice, served hot with several choices for all guests and constantly re-stocked. Within a block of the historic downtown Main Street shops and wineries! Easy access to Interstate for more shopping/dining options.

Great traveling experience
Went to area for a concert at the Verizon Amphitheater (a 10 minute drive). Hotel staff very friendly. Facility very nice, very clean. Easy to get to interstate, but in a quiet neighborhood. Great experience especially for the price.

Katy Trail is next to hotel. It's a well known destination bike trail. Nearby microbrewery was good for casual dining and a pint. In old town, which has crafty shopping.

Wonderful, Historical, and Comfortable
Came to town for a concert and got a double treat! Enjoyed a stroll down historical main street after a fantastic nights sleep. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and climate controlled....not hot one minute and cold the next like you get in some hotels. The bed was awesome! Very important to me because I have a bad back. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Clean, Quiet, & Safe
It's the ideal jumping-off point for the old-town St. Charles Main Street area. Clean, quiet, and safe, despite it's proximity to the casino. The all-you-can-eat breakfast bar (included in the price of the room) was nice too.

Location of this hotel to shopping on main street is like having a room on the mountain slopes that you can ski from to get to the chair lifts.

Great Hotel, Had a sense of a Home fill
The Hotel was wonderful. Right on the spot of Downtown St. Charles and the parking was awesome loved the garage. The staff was very nice and helpful. The Hotel had a great sense of a home style to it. Breafast was great to have in the morning. And the beds were relaxing really loved the comforter and the pillows. It was very quiet and very serene. If I planned on coming back to visit St. Louis I would stay here and just drive the distance to the city.

Country Inn and Suites was a great place to be very affordable and had all of the qualities of a Major Hotel Chain (ex. Mariott, and the Hilton).

Unbeatable location for the price
Our children live in the St. Louis/St. Charles area so the hotel is very convenient for us. Also, we enjoy the Ameristar Casino and it is so handy to just be able to go to the hotel WITHOUT getting out on the major highway. As well as, the Katy Trail and old St. Charles are right there to be enjoyed.

mother of Lindenwood graduate
second time around
I went to st charles for my son's graduation. I stayed there 4 years previously when he started his schooling--it was close to the school, fairly close to theaters, close to shopping, but off the beaten path, love the location. I think the carpets could be a little cleaner--they weren't awful, bathrooms were clean, nice beds and nice bedding.

This was my second stay 4 years later, was a little worried that it might not be as good the second time. But it was just as nice the second time. I liked the location, it was clean, quiet, and easy to get to.
