Pear Tree Inn Union Station

This hotel was very nice. We came down for a concert and was going to be late in checking in. The staff looked up my reservation and set me up with a late arrival check-in! Awesome breakfast in accommodating surroundings. Room was comfortable. Close to all the places you want to go around St. Louis. Noticed they accommodated those with special needs (wheel chair, etc.) well.

Staff VERY friendly and helpful. Along with full hot breakfast buffet - we also got 3 free beer/wine and snacks in evening! ! Never had that even at the fanciest of hotels! Room was clean - nothing special. Location: a little out of the way. They did however, have free parking for hotel guests - so take you car and drive places. Cabs are very pricey ! Restaurant attached - good food reasonable prices. Sports bar atmosphere but food was good and a wide variety on the menu. Try the thin crust pizzas !

Nice stay. Staff extremely polite. Everything we wanted and close to all our activities (zoo, city museum, the Loop...)

I was impressed with the interior and cleanliness of the roomw. Very quiet and comfortable. It is close to all the downtown activities and would stay again. Staff was courteous and the small amenities such as free cotinental breakfast and free cocktail during the happy hour were great.

In town for confernce and enjoyed location and price compared to other locations near Union Station. On site food options was good, hotel staff was very helpful, but room, pool and exercise room were ordinary.

It's a convenient hotel. Good safe area. Near downtown. Shuttle to games.

Great hotel for MVC tourament. Near arena, free parking, quiet nights, and free breakfast...what more do you want.

The view of Arch was awesome.You need to go to end of hallway,but it was still awesome. We would stay there again.

The Good First: The staff was exceptional in terms of responsiveness and politeness!! The morning breakfast was above average. The room was clean but very average. I chose this hotel for the location (near the Scottrade Center). However, for $15 more, I could have stayed in the downtown Hyatt. That would have been the best $15 I ever spent!! It was clean, but that is where it ends.

My wife and I went to the Blues home game against the Calgary Flames on 11/25 and we stayed at this hotel. We had a very nice room with King size bed and we were just up the street 5 minutes away from Scottrade Center. Our package included drink tickets for up to three free happy hour drinks and a hot buffet breakfast the next morning. Even better was that the hotel bar, Syberg's, runs a shuttle to and from the Blues game for only $2 each way per person. Lots of fun people on bus and very convenient. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately Union Station is no longer a great shopping area so don't waste your time there.
