It's all about the bed.
Having a bad back, my prayer before any hotel stay is, "Please, let it be a comfortable bed." The bed was a king-size as promised. Too often, it is only a queen. It was firm, but cushioned, with plenty of pillows. Totally comfy; I loved it. Everything else was as expected: no more, no less. My husband's only complaint was the smell of the cleaners used. I've smelled much worse and this was noticeable, but not offensive to me. Nor did I have an allergic reaction, which has happened in the past. Check-in was mildly complicated by having booked through O____z.. It seemed that our credit cards would not be approved for more than a dollar a day for "incidentals". It turned out to be a problem with the O____tz "card. The guy at check-in was matter of fact about it and said "It happens occasionally." Access to town was easy. I would stay there again.

Tupelo Honey Cafe is worth the trip, but try to make a reservation! Otherwise, you can expect a wait regardless of the day of the week or time of the day. We really enjoyed the Green Man porter at Jack of the Wood pub.

Biltmore Visit
This was very good experience. Hotel was located clsoe to Biltmore Estate and easy to find. Breakfast was outstanding and service was great.

Good value
The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming. There were cookies, pieces of fruit, and hot coffee in the lobby at all times. The hot breakfast on real plates was great. Towels were great, but washcloths a little thin and skimpy. Overall, a great first Country Inn experience.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
The staff were all friendly.The hotel was comfortable. The breakfast was great(everything you could want fresh & hot). A good value and stay for an Ashville getaway!

Family Get Together
It was a nice hotel in a great location. It was near the Biltmore, Grove Park Inn and downtown Asheville. There were a lot of restaurants within a few miles of the hotel.

Got in late in the evening, front desk staff were busy with many guests arriving simultaneously the staff juggled the workload effectively and quickly in a friendly and polite manner.

Comfy hotel
We had a great stay at the Country Inn & Suites. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We even had the option of opening a window to the cool mountain air. :)

This requirement is dumb
Clean and neat.
The hotel experience was exceptional with one source of discontent. After arrival, the hotel clerk wanted my billing address. Told me the Orbitz people were always leaving that information off when they sent in reservations. Secondly then he wanted my credit card and prescanned my card for hotel amenities in case I used the long distance telephone service. Even after telling him I had 2 cellphones with free long distance on them, I could not check into the hotel until he swiped my card. Rest assured I am watching the card like a hawk and WILL prosecute the hotel, the hotel clerk, and anyone else involved in a possible credit card scheme.

Great place to stay for business
Stayed here for four nights while I was in town for a business seminar. The hotel is close to everything and I love the hot tub!
