Days Inn Asheville/Mall

I chose this hotel because it included the breakfast buffet. Complimentary internet and parking, was also a key element. I will definitely chose this hotel again when I return for business.

Excellent morning breakfast sellection.Best we have seen in some time. hotel is getting some age on it but they do a decent job of keeping it clean.

Starting with t he breakfast ...nothing I could eat as the food was salty, fat, cheap and not tasty. The rug in he room should be a science project as it was so rotten. The coffee maker made one cup in a paper cup,blah. The bed was so uncomfortable I needed to massage out the kinks. The pool was closed for painting and the whole place was a waste of real estate. Never again.

We did not like that the wood floor buckled and creaked when we walked around the room.

The staff was nice, and helpful, The breakfast was very good. Easy access to other attractions in the area.

The room was a bit stale, but you can't beat the free breakfast buffet and the short distance to downtown Asheville.

The internet connection was terribly slow, even at the lobby computer. Our room had something sticky spilled in between the bed stand and the bed. The mattress sagged a little in the middle The rooms are nicely and newly renovated but the TV is still old school. Smokers disgusting fumes made their way into the lobby from the front entrance which was quite incredibly uninviting. Lastly, the breakfast had huge variety and made the stay all worth it. The location was close to the Biltmore house and uptown Asheville, but you definitely need a car to get there.

We were in Asheville only 2 nights to visit Biltmore, so we were pleased to find that by taking Swanannoa Rd, which is quite near the motel, we'd come out on Biltmore Av abt 2 blocks from its entrance, with no traffic to contend with. We also passed several antique shops on Swanannoa on our way to Biltmore, so we visited them on our last day. Their stock was varied from large architectural pieces to small porcelain figurines, and abut everything imaginable in between. The complimentary breakfast, which had plenty of foods to suit each of us, was quite tasty and a big plus. We had no time to shop, but being located so near the mall is a plus for our next visit.

For the LOW rate I paid for this stay I was completely amazed and satisfied with everything! I got a 2 queen size smoking room! LOVED the wood floors! SO CLEAN! Free Wi-fi, excercise room, laundry room, and the complimentary Breakfast was TO DIE FOR!! I can not express the satisfaction of my stay!!
