Very good hotel
The hotel did everything right. Right on the water and I could see the battleship from my window. Walking distance to great food and nightlife. The people were nice, and the room was good. I recommend this hotel.

The Whiskey was a very fun bar to go dancing at. For food try 'Flaming Amy's' which is great food. But it is a drive into town.

Friendly staff and wonderful location
Have stayed here before and never had any complaints. Hotel is clean, well maintained and located within easy reach of restaurants, theatre and on the waterfront. Safe to walk at night.

Coastline Best Western
From our room we could look across the river at the USS NC Battleship, as well as walked on the pier from the hotel. It was an awesome experience and will be staying there on my next trip! The hotel staff was very informational, about thier services and when questions about sights they knew quite a bit which was helpful when you have a four year old on vacation.

Charming hotel on the river
Downtown within walking distance to tons of restaurants and hot spots. Wonderfully decorated rooms and gracious staff.

Visit the Serpentarium in downtown Wilmington. Crocodiles, piranha, and the worlds most deadly snakes up close and personal!

Checked in at 11:00 AM and found remote did not work. Left for appointments and requested front desk employee to see if they could fix it. Returned at 6:00PM and it was not fixed.

Right on the river, easy walking to all the restaurants and shops in the historic district. 11 mile ride to the ocean. Would definitely come back again.

Great Hotel, a pleasure to stay there
A very nice hotel, restful views of the Cape Fear River and a perfect location for enjoying old town Wilmington. Staff were also very pleasant and the breakfast in a basket delivered to your door every morning was a nice touch. There is currently ( August 09) construction going on next door, but this didn't really bother us and it looks being to be close to finished soon.

Very convient to downtown scene
The Bestwestern sites across the river from the USS North Carolina which we visited during our stay in Wilmington. The WWII battleship is a great attraction. One of the best things I can say about the hotel is the fact that it sits right on the board walk and provides easy walking access to the downtown dining and historic scenery. The beaches are only 20 minutes away. I would highly recommend the Bestwestern!
