Quality Inn Wilmington

First, it is not a hotel, it is a motel. Had I known it was a motel I would not have stayed there for the price, but it was an emergency. I arrived at the motel late, so I had to ring a doorbell for the clerk wearing clothes that were 2 sizes too small to sashay to the counter. I was slid a sheet of paper to sign under the glass, then directed to my room. The next morning I go to check out and there is maintenance going on in the lobby. There were handwritten signs pointing me around the corner to a side entrance of the lobby. I told the clerk I wanted to check out. She said, "Ok" and took my keys. She then answers a phone call in the middle of checking me out. All the while there are guys right behind her drilling into the floor. All in all, the 12 hours I spent in the room were ok, but it was definitely not worth what I was charged.

NEEDED A PLACE FOR THE IRONMAN COMP. . CLEAN ROOM, TOO COLD FOR POOL. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A ROOM ON THE EVEN SIDE PAST THE POOL AREA ... LESS LIGHTS/TRAFFIC

When we drove up we were like, oh no, but it was a great place to stay. The rooms were freshly renovated and the breakfast was super. Would stay there again if we need to stay in Wilmington.

As with all hotels in this price range, I was somewhat skeptical when I first came across this online. However, once we arrived to our room, the place was very clean, tidy, and the room was wonderfully updated. The room did not smell of smoke whatsoever, and it was very evident that no pets had stayed (we have had many hotel rooms ruined by stray animal hair embedded in the sheets). In addition to the room, every staff member that we encountered was very nice and polite. I definitely recommend staying here if you are on a budget. I consider myself much of a perfectionist, and this place was very pleasing.

The stay was amazing. I looked online for reviews and found this was the best deal for a higher quality hotel and it most definitely was.

Hotel was nice was doing some repairs in the main office but it was a nice motel and the rooms were nice.

The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was super nice.

Shopped, went to the beach, dined, rested.

Very nice experience as always. I love staying at the Quality Inn whenever I'm in Wilmington. The rooms are quite and comfortable.

We were there for our daughter's graduation from UNCW. The hotel is ok but it is right on the corner of Market St and Lullabye Dr so it was pretty noisy and not really the best section of town. The room was very small with a king bed. We were on the first floor so there were always people walking by, One night someone actually knocked on our door for some reason. Of course, we didn't open it and called the front desk. That person was there looking for someone else. Who goes aroung knovking on hotel doors looking for someone??? The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good but the space is small and can get very crowded at times. The HVAC unit is pretty noisy when it kicks on. Sounded like a plane landing outside. The price was pretty cheap so you get what you pay for. Barely ok for a day or two.
