Comfort Inn Chelsea

Everything was fine. Great location and perfect for one or two night stay. Easy walk from Penn.

The hotel is very near to the empire state building (only two bloc away) the room was very small and I don’t want to describe the bad sheets situation at the first day (especially the smudges… ) the breakfast was less than average but the hotel location is the important issue. For a place to stay with children’s is nice and good . Try avoid a room located near by the elevator! The noise was terrible

The room was a bit dreary and hallways smelled of smoke, but a fine enough place to sleep. Just around the corner from Eataly: a big plus.

I had a last minute trip for work that I heard about on Saturday with travel to stay Tuesday night. Of course, I was freaking out with timing & cost also, but was very pleased that I found the Comfort Inn which ended up being the best price & only a block away from where I had to be for an 8am meeting. I will definitely come back!

Room was clean - bed was incredibly comfortable - location was quiet. For the purpose of being in town 1 night - (most of that time spent out of the hotel room), this was a perfect experience. Would definitely come back here again for the over all value.

Cleanliness was my first and basically only priority. We were in town for the night - and basically only sleeping in the room for a matter of hours - and showering. It was perfect for our needs. Friendly people (both patrons and staff). The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. Our room was facing the back alley - not the street - which could have accounted for the extra quiet. All in all - I will always remember this hotel and seek to go back there.

Centrally located, helpful staff, very clean, room was small but very adequate. that is expected in NYC, Would use this hotel again in NYC

A fantastic location! Madison Square Park is located at your door step. There are nightly activities in the park and a fun little burger place called 'The Shake Shack' - be prepared for a long line but it goes fast. There is a lovely Orthodox Church directly across from the hotel that is worth a look. The Hotel itself is good enough - clean and basic. The rooms are a bit small and outdated. However, the location is great and safe. I walked everywhere - Greenwich, Meatpacking District, Lower Eastside, Chelsea Pier - without concern. And if you don't feel like walking you can catch a cab on 5th or 6th Ave to practically anywhere in the city for less than $10. If you are looking for luxury accommodations - this hotel isn't for you. But if you want to explore the awesome neighborhoods of NYC in a real, authentic way, welcome home!

This was the worst hotel experience we've had. There was no comfort at the comfort inn. We had two bedroom room- the heat didn't work. The hot water was warm at best. The lights in the bathroom did not work. How can they run a hotel like this? We are still trying to get our money back- and the hotel manager has not followed up with an answer.
