This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel within the last 2 weeks. The first time, we had no problem's, LOVED our King Suite! Unfortunatly when we had returned with our children, the room they gave us (which is located next to the room we had stayed at previously) had a ant infestation in the bathroom. IF we would have realized it before we were all settled in our room and hadn't rearranged all the furniture to make room for our kids since THIS king suite wasn't as nice nor big as our previous one, (which I don't understand anyway, there both KING SUITES!) we would have moved room's in an instant. But we had already been there for almost 3 1/2 hours made it stay-able. I immediatly notified the front dest which only sent housekeeping down to 'look at it'. Then the next morning I went to the Front desk to ask if they could mop our floor's before we showered and it took almost an hour AFTER housekeeping arrived for them to mop for us. (Who want's to step out of the shower with ant's on the floor?)

The room appeared to be of higher quality. The room was also clean. At night the noise from the hallway and room above was unacceptable. I could hear the floor joices above with every movement. This hotel had suffered previous fire damage and I do not believe it is structurally sound. The pool area was nice but overcrowded. Non-guests can use the facility for a fee and this creates overcrouding.

Clean as a whistle and the staff was excellent.
However A/C did not properly function; one room card didn't work; batteries in TV remote dead; no room safe; noisey in the morning-housekeeping (if you went out the night before)
Smithfield is better if you like an efficiency This is better if you like a pool/spa
Nightlife Lounge...Lounge... really who are you trying to kid. Just a regular hotel 6-8 seat bar (again Staff EXCELLENT!

very nice hotel. room was clean,everything worked, walls were a but thin but tolerable. continental breakfast was great and food was hot and fresh. will be back soon. The only issue was the snow removal which might not be the hotel but who they contract, I would replace them. If it was the hotel not a very good job at all.

Good value for the money, but nothing great. Polite staff, clean, quiet (my room was in the back as far as you can get from Rte. 3. Convenient to the Pyramid Mall such as it is, and the CVPH hospital. A couple of decent restaurants (Butcher Block and Anthony

The hotel shows its age. It was one of the first "modern" motels built in Plattsburgh. It is always quiet and as clean as it can be. They seem busy. Of all the motels in Plattsburgh, it has the most reasonable rate. I did not receive any discount using Orbitz and had paid the same rate the week before without using Orbitz

We used our weekend as a jump off point for seeing 2 of our sons at a summer camp North of Plattsburg. The stay was not bad - The beds are VERY comfortable (I like a "softer" mattres) Rooms were acceptable for what we paid. Resturants were only a short drive.

My wife and I visited family and where very comfortable. The only thing I can think of is maybe an iron in the room. The comparison to other trips we have taken the rooms where very clean. The cleaning person did an excellent job on the room. Very good experience.

I love this hotel! The king rooms are very comfortable and spacious. I love the bed and pillows!! The bathroom and vanity are nicer and larger than what we currently have at home! And I picked up a few possible tips for my up-coming bathroom redo! The breakfast is very nice, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the location is great!

It's new..breakfast is good in the morning..rooms are clean and staff is very helpful. INdoor pool great for kids..great little workout facility. We use this place as a launch pad to go to Chazy Lake and Champlain. If you're going to book a room..make sure you get a suite..bigger is better. LAundry facility on site one washer one dryer $1.00 each good for going home with clean clothes.
