Downtown Erie Hotel

Had to wait several minutes at front desk for service, looked like they were closed. Door key did not work at closest door to our room, had to walk to the far end of hotel to enter. Pretty sure shower wasnt cleaned, lots of soap scum on walls. King size bed was very uncomfortable and didn't even have a fitted sheet to cover it! Definitely won't be back.

Like they say... "You get what you pay for" and that holds true for this hotel. It wasn't a 5-Start Hotel but it was decent enough for a 1-night stay in Erie. We we please with the cleaniness of the room and bathroom and the free breakfast as well. The staff was very nice too. It seems to be a family oriented hotel because there were kids running all around and playing outside in the court yard near the pool. It didn't bother me because I have kids of my own. The only complaint I had was that I requested a Non-Smoking room but I could tell that someone was smoking in the room anyway. The smell of cigarette smoke was still lingering in our room when we got there so I had to use about a 1/2 bottle of my body spray just to get rid of the smell. Other than that, it was ok! ;-(

terrible.terrible.terrible. service was terrible. nothing worked in our room. would not refund our money after 30 minutes because they have a ridiculous 15 minute rule(not joking). went to 5 rooms before settling on one where most things worked. almost all the rooms had broken security latches, way over priced.

The rooms were very outdated, linens were of dollar store quality, ceiling in the shower damaged and leaking, and EVERY vending machine was empty (no pop or water whatsoever). Location was the pits, downtown in the Hood would be more appropriate.

No internet on the room they gave us first. They did move us, so we could get internet. Only decaf coffee in the breakfast area. Bath water wasn't warm.

The Hotel was nothing like the website said it would be. The resturant was not there in the hotel anymore. Room was dirty, bathroom was really bad and the water did nt go down the drain while in the shower...Pool was really bad and dirty.

I AM a budget-friendly person. The reason I booked this was because a "breakfast" was included and I was justifying the extra money saved. To start, the room was dirty. There were several dead bugs (the large June-bug type) on the floor, hairs on the sink, counter and in the tub, debris on the carpet, etc. However, the sheets and 2 flat pillows appeared to be clean. The next morning we went to the "continental" breakfast 1/2 hour before it closed. A man was coming to do "refills." I asked him if he was going to refill the pastries, the bread, the bagels or anything else. He told me, "This is all there is," which was basically NOTHING. There were some fruit rings and milk and coffee and 1 mini-bagel. However, there were condiments aplenty if you wanted to have some cream cheese along with your sugar packet. Again, I AM budget friendly and I'm a camper so not too much bothers me. I realize you get what you pay for, but I would've spent the extra money and gotten a hotel/motel closer to the interstate AND cleaner/better breakfast.

It was not far from lots of shopping and resteraunts. However, the building is pretty run down. It was an ok stay but, will probaly never go there again. I will pay a little more and get a nicer hotel. IT WAS VERY CLEAN THOUGH. WHICH IS A HUGE PLUS FOR ME!!! Hated the HUGE windows!!! The staff was Great!

we stayed there one evening and i suggest you dont.the room was kinda dirty,the hotel was dead.noone stays there.no continental breakfast or restaraunt like advertised.in my experience i would never stay there again.the people at the desk did not speak english and did not know what they were doing.

Motel was not a 3 star, 2 or possibly a 1 star.
