Extended Stay America Philadelphia - Airport

This hotel looks nice from the outside but that's about it. When we arrived I had to wait for the clerk to finish talking to her male friend who was in pajama pants. There was loud music in a lot of the rooms and the smell of weed and cigarette smoke was through out. We where actually afraid to leave our room. The bed was hard and there was only one pillow on each side of the bed. When I went down to the front desk to get an additional pillow they where unable to provide me with it! Unbelievable, all I wanted was a second pillow and that was too much to ask. I HIGHLY recommend not staying at this hotel! Not to mention the floors where sticky, just gross!!!

Adequate hotel for the price, shower still had hairs from the last person.

I was scheduled to stay 8 nights; but only stayed 1. I did not have a car, and found that this hotel, among the others in that area, was the furthest from the train station and the sole restaurant. I felt extremely uncomfortable with the hotel's cleanliness and with undetermined individuals "hanging around" the lobby area. To get into the room, the desk clerk had to come up and "jimmy" the lock. I also had a hard time paying for the Internet. Therefore, I changed my reservation, staying in the room only one night, and stayed in another, comparable hotel closer to the train station and restaurant and with breakfast and free wifi. With other hotels nearby, I could not rationalize stay at Extended Stay.

IT WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL CHAIN AS A RESULT. MY WIFE STILL FEELS LIKE SHE MAY COME DOWN WITH SOMETHING. THD MATTRESS HAD A OLD BLOODSTAIN ON IT AND THE SHEETS WOULLD NOT STAY ON THE BED. THERE WERE NO OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE ACCORDING TO THE GENTLEMEN AT THE DESK. I REALLY FEEL WE DESERVE OUR MONEY BACK. YUCKKKKKKKKKKKY.

The hotel was close to the airport and close to our destination in Philadelphia. We were only at the hotel during the evening. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and quiet.

We were traveling out of PHL, so we stayed at the hotel the night before. The location was ideal for getting a cab to the Philllies game and then the airport the next day.

This is a basics only location. Close to the airport but a drive to anything else. There is a kitchen but you need a car to get to anywhere from here. Very little outside dining available, and nothing within a walk for any other service or need. Occupied while I was there by several labor crews from out of town and the place was packed.

my door did not lock and I had to change rooms; Second room also smelled funny -- like they had used stuff to get rid of smoke smell from previous occupants

THE ROOM SMELLED LIKE SMOKE WHICH MADE MY CLOTHES SMELL LIKE A BAR. I HAD TO CLEAN THE BATHROOM MYSELF BC THERE WAS HAIR ALL OVER THE FLOOR. THE SHEETS HAS "STAINS" ON THEM. ALONG SIDE OF THE BED WERE BLOOD STAINS. BEING AS THOUGH THIS WAS LAST MINUTE, IT WAS VERY DISSATISFYING

Staff was friendly and the room was adequate.
